Popular Post Maxximum
#16 Red Faction: Armageddon Master Unlock all Trophies in Red Faction: Armageddon The platinum that had me wrapping up 2017 finally unlocked and I actually had an idea in mind to save it for New Year at midnight, just the way I did it to Battlefield 4 last year when it unlocked at 12:08. Well, it's the second game in the series that I've played (first one being Guerilla, but I think it was a demo back then) and I have to say they are great. This one's probably the easiest one in the series. Killing aliens and other unidentified creatures were all present and crazy things in the game. I think I had over 2000 kills or something. The campaign wasn't too short nor long. The hardest difficulty was of course "Insane", but I had to play on Normal to unlock cheats and make the Insane playthrough a sprint in the pitch. I haven't really watched or followed the cutscenes and didn't get to know most of the characters in the game. The Infestation mode is quite enjoyable and it can be played both offline and online. There are 30 waves in each map, and there are 16 maps in total in which 8 of them are already unlocked, while the other 8 are just "DARK" versions of the initial ones. Special thanks to @Chyngis-Chan for the 2 trophies that were boostable. Next up I have Call of Duty: Black Ops in storage, but all of a sudden it freezes when I reach the menu. I don't know when this started to be an issue, but it was working very fine back in 2015. Maybe my cousins ruined the game and now it's like this. Way to go New Year's Day. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Popular Post Kishnabe
Platinum #175: Psycho-Pass Mandatory Happiness (Vita) Played through half without skipping. Had to skip the rest in order to get the platinum before the PS+ version hits. Will be revisiting this, playing the parts I skipped. Mini game was a pain at some points, I did enjoy it. Enjoyed chaining blocks together, when you get into a groove. Easy to wreck a level. 7-9 stage was my limit, too short of an area to work with. Not the best VN, I could not sink hours straight like I did with Code Realize. Only played this one in small chunks, could use more humor. Popular Post LethalBlade26
#129 Friday the 13th Honestly never thought I would ever go for this plat, but after meeting another boosting partner passionate to beat this game i decided to give it a shot. All I can say is that mistakes were made and I wanted to stop so many times. But i was already in too deep and I was stubborn to finish this game. The feeling of achieving this plat was just so amazing. I would recommend not to go for this since its just so time consuming, but if you really want to have a platinum with less than 1% at the time of this post, then i say go for it. Just find yourself a good boosting group.

Popular Post Lorajet
Until Dawn A Symphony of Horror Trophy Nice game, took me a few playthroughs to get all of the trophies and I would of given up, but thankfully I put it on my required game completion list so that kept me going. Only complaint was that if you tried to change any of the butterfly effects and you didn't start a new game, you could not stop and save. Meant 2-3 hours set aside for this. But, I'd still recommend it as an excellent game!
Popular Post Dead Weight
#183 Chaos;Child Last Platinum of 2017. It was a good read but I did feel like some portions dragged on longer than they should have. This game is a lot more gruesome and gory than I initially thought it would be. I did enjoy it in the end, I liked the delusion trigger system and how outrageous the scenes could be from it. Personally I don't think it's as good as Steins;Gate or S;G0 but that's mostly because I enjoy the Science themes in those games while this one was more about Psychics. I'd recommend to people who like reading VNs.

itachi-destroyer
Platinum Earn all trophies Difficulty : 3/10 Enjoyment : 5.5/10 Resistance was one of my first PS3 games and I have good memories with this franchise so I told myself "why not play the PS Vita Resistance ?". That's the reason I picked it today and finished it in less than 5 hours of gameplay but the game could be done way quicker. The game was not as good as the two firsts Resistance but I enjoyed it more than Resistance 3. The game is obviously very short and quite easy but the gameplay is average at best, the graphics are not good and the story is the typical FPS story of the american hero that's going to save the world. So, all in all, a decent game but not for more than 5€. Edited January 2, 2018 by itachi-destroyer
Popular Post GarciaFever
#177 DC Universe Online (PS3) Finally managed to get this game done and out of the way before the servers shut down at the end of the month. Also, this is the first platinum that I got for the year of 2018. I never did like playing F2P games, but when my brother managed to get this game way back when it first came out, I might as well try it out. The road to the plat is very easy, where you only need to reach level 30 with 6 characters while each being mentored by certain people. However, after several months have passed, the developers have decided to go down the Sound Shapes route and add a crap ton of DLC, along with trophies that you can get. As for whether or not I should go for the DLC before the online servers (PS3) shut down: Edited January 2, 2018 by GarciaFever
Popular Post marvelboy10
#90- Lego City Undercover Cop-letionist Unlock All Trophies Ever since they announced Lego City Undercover back in 2013, I knew that I had to have it. Unfortunately at the time, the game was a Wii U exclusive and I didn't have the Wii U at the time, nor do I own one now. When I heard that they were releasing it for the PS4 and XBox One consoles earlier last year, I knew that my prayers were answered. I said to myself "The game I yearned to play for four years can finally be mine". "I can know indulge myself in this captivating and invigorating video game that's beloved by many individuals". Lego City Undercover is not you average Lego game. It has a lot to offer other than funny story telling and level collectibles. You take the role of a cop named "Chase McCain" and you explore the vast open world that is known as "Lego City". You're primary objective is to roam around Lego City to find and apprehend a criminal known as "Rex Fury", a diabolical menace who is hellbent on taking control of Lego City. It's up to you to chase him down and put an end to his diabolical schemes, and save Lego City from being torn apart brick by brick. I played this game and I got to say, this game did....not disappoint me in the slightest. This game is unprecedented and is comprised of a diversity of new elements that make it stand out among other Lego installments. I enjoyed every signal aspect of the game. I liked the driving controls, although sometimes it was a bit tricky driving while boosting. The story made sense and was invigorating. I also adored the voice actors, the clever jokes/puns, and references to a variety of popular detective films (Sherlock Holmes, Starsky and Hutch, etc). I was astonished at the amazing detail that they put on the open world aspect of the game. The only real tedious aspect of the game that a good portion of players strongly dislike, is the the innumerable amount of collectibles the game consists of. This game consists of approximately....450 gold bricks ( <--- my exact reaction when discovering this flabbergasting fact). 450 gold bricks? Yes, 450 Gold bricks I kid you not. However, despite this alarming fact, when you dive into the collectibles and use guides for assistance, it feels as if there aren't really 450 gold bricks. That's how it felt to me. I originally thought that I was going to engage in consecutive hours of boredom trying to find and complete all collectibles and challenges, but thankfully that wasn't the case for me. I enjoyed collecting all those collectibles, and I would do it again if I had the time. The challenges themselves weren't difficult in the slightest. They're pretty self explanatory. For example, save a cat out of a tree, fly to the next roof while holding on to a Chicken, and shoot a Pig out of a cannon. See, nothing out of the ordinary here. If you use a guide, then this game is cakewalk. Prior to playing this game, I heard that it's notorious for having numerous freezing glitches on many individuals. Unfortunately, there was no way to fix this glitch, so I dived into the game and hoped for the best. The game only crashed on me two times towards the end of my trophy hunting journey. I'm glad that it didn't glitch out while it was saving. Otherwise I would've had to restart everything and lose a lot of valuable time. Collecting the gold bricks was the only "difficult" part of the game. So patience is an essential attribute you must have if you want to ensure you obtain the platinum for this awesome game. This game made me feel like a 6 year old all over again, and I'm glad that it didn't disappoint me after so many years of anticipation. If there is one game that I enjoyed playing in 2017, then it's definitely Lego City Undercover. I'm proud to have made this game my 90th platinum, and my New Year plat. I'm currently the fastest achiever for the game and the 3rd person in the world/history to platinum it in less than 3 days. https://psnprofiles.com/100-club/6005-lego-city-undercover. Until next time, have a great day and happy New Year! Edited January 2, 2018 by marvelboy10
Popular Post Sergen
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3: Platinum #100 Difficulty: 8/10 Rarity: 0.94% Here it is, my 100th platinum on PSN. It took me 5 years to achieve that milestone, however I have not pushed hard for trophies for that long, I take frequent breaks from trophy hunting and have big droughts. This game wasn't originally intended to be my 100th platinum, however I got to thinking and thought that the platinum name was fitting for the occasion. The Platinum name is "The Ultimate" and you could consider 100 platinums as the ultimate milestone. Since I trophy hunt slowly, I'm unsure whether I'll really have a milestone that is better than my 100th platinum. Now, the game itself isn't my rarest platinum, nor is it my most difficult, however it is a platinum I am very satisfied to have in my collection. My last trophy on this game was for achieving 30-hours offline play time, but I know I spent more than 30-hours playing the game offline, the issue is that the game's timer only counts time that you spend unpaused and doesn't count time that is spent in menus and so on. I did pause some missions in mission mode to stop between frames and prepare my next input, which definitely wouldn't have been counted in seconds. Arcade Mode was a complete breeze on this game, because Sentinel's H laser combined with Iron-Man's assist laser dominates all the opponents. You do need to complete Arcade Mode around 50 times, which becomes tedious, but the mode only consists of 7 fights and each of them takes less than 20 seconds. I farmed quite a few of the trophies for completing various moves a bunch of times while playing Arcade Mode naturally, none of the moves slowed me down while I was trying to get through Arcade Mode fast. The only moves that are required to be performed a bunch of times that annoyed me a bit were: Cross-Over Counters and Team Aerial Counters, I had to self-boost these with two PS3s to get them done quicker, AI in Arcade Mode hardly creates scenarios where you can counter a team aerial counter. High-Score Hero is the only somewhat annoying Arcade Mode trophy, which requires you to score over 500,000 points in a run of Arcade Mode, this score is pretty strict considering I took no damage in any fights and only achieved 505,678 as a score. You need to perform various moves a few times while also not taking damage to get over 500,000 points, the moment you take damage it is best to return to the character select screen to restart that fight, luckily you don't lose any points by doing that. Arcade Mode on Hardest difficulty was very short and simple, like most fighting game Arcade Mode requirements. To get a character ending and gallery items, the last hit against Galactus has to be dealt with the character you want to get an ending with. The online for this game is rather short and simple, except the trophy for playing online for 30 hours, but I used 2 PS3s and 2 turbo controllers to get that trophy by playing player matches and assigning no commands to the X button so time would be wasted simply standing there. The most difficult trophy on this game is "Master of Tasks" for completing 480 missions in Mission Mode. When I got that trophy, I posted about it here: I am by no means good at this game or good at the fighting game genre in general and trophies do not define gaming skill in this genre, a lot of fighting games still have exploitable methods to cheese through it. At least the platinums look good in a trophy collection . My first platinum of 2018 happened to be my 100th platinum and this is also my 9th Ultra Rare platinum in a row so far. I will be doing this game again on PS4 in the future and I also intend to do the vanilla version considering it is much easier than this one and still Ultra Rare Platinum. I do not intend to play the vita version at all but I'm not counting it out entirely. I did make a video of the platinum here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XF0Bc3G5k_8 it shows the stats I got when I finished the game. Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#79 - Lara Croft GO "A true adventurer" Collect all trophies I don't have much to say about this game to be honest. I picked it up for super cheap (like $2), and I finished it quite quickly. It's a clever little puzzle game with a really cool style, but it's also very short and the controls can be frustrating (primarily because the grid is based on 'diagonal' directions, so sometimes you'll press right on the analogue stick and it will go in a slightly different direction... leading to a quick death!). However, I never had much of an issue with it because the checkpoints were so generous and the reload times were so short. Some of the later levels in particular were quite clever and required quite a few attempts. Beyond that, there's not much to say. I reckon it's worth a play, but no worries if you miss out on this one. Game rating: 6/10 (just meh) Plat difficulty: 2.5/10
Popular Post Elvick_
Platinum #128 Deadpool (PS4) Okay, you can sell the game now Earn all other trophies This was pretty fun, but man could it have used a cutscene skip and some more forgiving [less ridiculous] checkpoints as well. The shooting itself isn't very great, I think it's mostly down to how the enemies move around. And the 'lockon' is terrible close up, but the melee is pretty damn fun. Other than the trophy for not using counters where you basically can't push circle at all otherwise it won't work. Not being able to dodge at all makes combat a massive pain. And sometimes, there was inconsistent damage. On the hardest difficulty, in the second to last battle in the final boss sequence(s), the dude who jumps at you would sometimes one hit kill me. Other times, not. :/ At least pick the damage you want to put out. I think if I can grab the PS3 version for a decent price, I'll do it again. Because, other than a few things it was pretty damn fun to platinum. I enjoyed the humor, but it grates on when you have to replay the game and/or a level multiple times though. Or when a checkpoint isn't *AFTER* cutscenes so you have to keep watching it. xP
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #17 - Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus Difficulty Rating 2/10 Enjoyment Rating 7/10 Uncommon - 28.28% Sometimes you just want to play something that doesn't have any missable trophies, I'm happy to say that this game provides you with such a luxury. Shinovi Versus is the very first PS Vita game I have ever played and is my first impression into the Senran Kagura universe. Seeing it from the sidelines for years, I was expecting nothing more than busty ninja action. While there is plently of that, I was very surprised to learn that a dark story was being told to me between each chapter from the Academy story modes. It's the individual character stories that provide more of the busty silly antics you would come to expect. For my first PS Vita game, I was heavily impressed with how the visuals were. Character models and environments were absolutely stunning. Sony's little handheld is packing some serious power! As for the game itself, it's a hack n slash where you usually beat the boss at the end of each short level after taking out all the enemy forces. There are 4 Academy stories consisting of 25 short chapters each. As well as 20 individual shinobi stories with 5 short chapters each. Altogether that's 200 short missions. By the time you are done with all those, you'll have enough money to buy out the in-game store and clean up the small handful of combat related trophies the game asks of you. Yep, it really is that easy. Usually I go into more detail but it's not needed for this game, I have full confidence anyone can pick this up and enjoy the ride as much as I did. I originally picked this up mainly because it still remains a PS Vita exclusive, but found myself liking it more than I thought. Now I own a copy of Estival Versus for the PS4 and will also be picking up Peach Beach Splash in the near future. If you enjoy loads of fighting action and big boobies, look no further. This game is for you Oh, and this Platinum is also my 1,000th trophy! Edited January 2, 2018 by ShonenCat
