Popular Post Masamune
Demon Gaze II Demon Gazer Prometh: "You get this because you got the other trophies." Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Playtime: 33:15:22 (6 days, 10 hours, 41 minutes) Screenshot: Just as good as the first, if not better! I'm surprised the game only has 600+ users on here, the original has 13K. I definitely liked the fact you find & get members to join your party better than just making them via character creation. I think that was one of the things I complained about in the first game? The game seemed a lot easier than the original too, only complaint is that most of the new characters you get start out at Lv1, so they tend to die a lot until they gain some stats. ? They could've left out the male characters too, they were just a waste of time for me (I never used them once, or wasted any crystals on them for the stats boost either). Going by the story on this, it sounds like they may do a 3rd game for the series, & I really hope they do. So far this has been one of my favorite Dungeon Crawlers on the Vita (next to Mary Skelter, & maybe Criminal Girls)... although by then I doubt it'll get a Vita release, probably just PS4 (don't worry my little dieing handheld, I still love you). ? 21 hours ago, SaVerr said: Also I really hate my platinum screenshot! This game deserves better one! Yeah, it always sucks when you get a plat shot on a loading screen, but just be glad it wasn't solid black. ? Mine wasn't much better though, it was on the congrats screen after beating the final boss. ? Definitely agree though, it was a great game.

Popular Post madbuk
#289 - Steins;Gate I am so thankful that PS+ gave me the chance to replay this masterpiece for free. I began this year with Steins;Gate 0, so (more or less) ending the year by replaying the original was a nice treat. I had been hoping that this would be a PS+ game for months, ever since finishing 0 honestly, and with time running out (as Vita/PS3 games stop being added in March) I had began to give up hope, so I borrowed my brother's Netflix account and watched the anime instead lol. And then, literally not even a week after I finished the anime, PS+ announces this to be free. I kinda wish I hadn't watched the anime, because it was all so fresh in my mind as a result, but that wasn't a huge issue. Being a replay (or a re-read really) all the suspense and tension is gone, but the raw emotion and power behind the scenes is very much still there. Knowing the outcome of the story also adds some weight to the scenes too, and makes the slice of life beginning more meaningful. It was a joy to watch all these characters and relationships come together again. Okabe and Kurisu are the standouts by far, but the rest of the cast is fantastic too. I hope that this being on PS+ drives more people to try it out, because it really is phenomenal. I also hope that the relatively slow start doesn't cause people to skip it all, because it's worth reading. I'm excited for Steins;Gate Elite next year, especially as it includes a spin-off game that was never localized before. I'm not sure I'll get it day 1, especially as it releases so soon after my replay of this, but it will absolutely be played eventually. ...I kinda want to replay 0 now lol. Maybe I'll pick up the Vita stack in a sale at some point. El. Psy. Kongroo.

Popular Post Baker
#202 Devils Never Cry. Enjoyment: Game: 9/10 Platinum 2/10 Difficulty: 6/10 Total Playtime: ~80 hours First off I absolutely suck at hack n slash games, or any game that requires button combo inputs. So I expected this to be quite hard, but it never really was. You can spam the best moves over and over and get through the game easily. The game itself is awesome, going through it with Vergil and his supercostume was amazing. I think this is the best hack n slash game I’ve ever played, gameplay wise. The platinum is a chore however, with 7 difficulty modes that won’t stack, of which 5 of them you need to S rank it becomes extremely repetitive after a while. You also need to beat Bloody Palace with all 5 characters but that wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. Quick thanks to @andrehunter, unknowingly his post about beating Bloody Palace with Trish on the first try gave me the motivation to finish this game, as I had taken a break from it for about 2.5 months due to do it becoming too boring. I hope DMC5 has a better trophy list.
Popular Post GraniteSnake
Some more platinum's... ? #89: Jack N' Jill DX Damn, I wasn't expecting it to be over THAT quick. 15 minutes of play time and I had already uninstalled the game.. crazy. Surely the easiest platinum one could obtain.. no difficulty whatsoever. At least in the early levels.. I could imagine it getting pretty difficult and precise as the game went on. #90: League of Evil This was actually a really fun game.. and I am in no means a fan of this type of game or anything (seriously, I've only played like 1 game even remotely similar to this). But for a game with a 57.07% platinum rarity, it is no cake walk. It's frustrating at times, but it never feels cheap. Most of the deaths occur when rushing through the levels trying to get back to that one part that needs a bit of patience to figure out the timing. The infamous Chapter 2 Level 30 was very manageable thanks to a post I found on another site showing just when to jump to exit the area with the briefcase. I actually found chapter 3 to be more consistently difficult. I think my final play time was around 5-8 hours, and my final death count was 1,468. A fun, frustrating, precise and exciting platformer. #91: Midnight Deluxe Another easy platinum. Over before you know it, and the trophies pop quickly. Some levels may cause some difficulty but there's guides up as the levels are set rather than randomly generated like the first. I guess this is why this game has the higher platinum rarity.. #92: Squareboy vs Bullies I had a bit of fun with this game. Straightforward gameplay with a silly little story. The only difficulty I had with this game was the final Boss but after a couple of restarts I managed to get the better of him. My final platinum time was 2 hours and 30 minutes. In that time I took a break, had dinner and watched an episode of Archer so this is easily a 2 hour platinum. Nothing amazing but it was still enjoyable to me nonetheless. #93: Super Destronaut DX Another fun and short platinum, around 30 minutes total play time. The sound effects, visuals and soundtrack make the experience rather enjoyable and exciting and it was actually a shame it was over so quickly. Again no difficulty whatsoever but at least it was fun.

Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
Platinum No. 94! Fe Sustain forest love Well… I’m a bit disappointed by this game. Following the main quest was fun (I liked using the different voices to befriend the animals. And, of corse, I really appreciated the snowy mountain area ?), but the plot is too cryptic. Actually I don’t know what I understood… Maybe nothing… You are this strange animal (an echidna?) which protects the forest from “weird invaders” And in the end you discover that inside these guys there are the same animals like the one you’re controlling. So, what does it mean? ? My character was with them, lost its memory and fought them. Or maybe they went crazy and I fix them. I’ll look up somewhere about this. The only boring thing was the collection of the 75 crystals. And the glitched counter, so it’s really fun when you collect a crystal in an area where there is none of them ? (1/0, good job crystal counter!), or again you have 14/13 in another area, but when you reload the game it becomes 13/13 ?, but in the next area (which previoulsy was 12/12) it becomes 11/12 (“wait, that area was complete. Where did it go that freaking crystal?!”). Seriously, what’s wrong with this counter? Is it drunk? Is it sick of doing this job? It made me think about another bugged counter: the one about the Light Seeds in the PS3 Prince of Persia (this one was a nightmare, but the one in Fe is mocking you ?).
Popular Post Viper
#142 RIDE (PS4)Born to RIDE I don't even know how I feel about this game...I really wasn't on board at first. Because this game was touted as easy, but the game IS NOT easy at all, until you make your first upgrade. Before that, the game is just a frustrating experience. You eventually learn that it's really about you buying the fastest bike for that category, then upgrading it all the way...once you do that, you're pretty much unstoppable as long as you actually drive well. So while it sounds a little petty...the game wasn't fun until I was able to win by landslides. Overall though...it's a Milestone game. They have this way of making low grade racing games that aren't all that optimized...yet somehow end up still being kinda fun in the end. I'm not going to give this game the praise you can see it getting everywhere...because it doesn't deserve it. It's not a good game. But if you want an easy racing game Plat, then look no further. Popular Post Lava_Yuki
Platinum #28, Atelier Sophie Overall rating: 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10- the story was very easy, no time limits and all the character events can be done at your own pace. You can also sleep through and skip days infinitely without any consequences to refresh things like shop items and quests. The only hurdle I had was the post game bosses where you need to craft really powerful equipment which took time and brain power for me who was new to the series. It would probably be a 3/10 for someone who's played the Atelier games before with a good knowledge of the alchemy system for which there is a learning curve for newbies. Story: 5/10: Not much of a story to be honest. The focus seemed to be on the alchemy more so than anything else. I felt the story kind of just took a back seat. I did like the characters though, especially Leon, Platcha and Logy. Battle system: 8/10- I like turn based combat so it was just like any standard rpg such as persona or FFX. The added use of items made it more fun. Time taken: Took me about 40 or so hours to platinum. I spent a lot of time farming and trying to understand the alchemy, consulting online guides, crafting and upgrading weapons along the way. But if you power through and have prior knowledge of what's what in the alchemy system, I'd say 30 hours would be enough as the story is super short.

Popular Post TraumaticChain6
#46: Lords Of The Fallen Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 7,5/10 Rarity: 4,45% I was close on giving up on this one because their where so many frustrating moments. Pro's: - Good soundtrack - The game can be fun - Bosses drop special weapons if you beat them a certain way Cons: -Glitches (audio dissapearing, crashes, weapons not working, ghost dissapearin, immediately dying when loading in,...) - All bosses have ridiculous range -Almost all enemies are quicker as you -Story is just average -The DLC had good ideas but traversing the maze is not really fun All in all there is fun to be had, but I recommend that if you are interested just pay the game once and see if the plat is worth it to you after that run.
Popular Post Caldor2K2
#112 - Resonance of Fate HD I got the platinum on the PS3 way back in 2012, and was feeling the need to replay it again shortly before the remaster was announced. The game was far more fun this time around as I totally knew how to play it. RoF has a steep learning curve, especially as far as the battle system goes. It can be totally cheap and unfair at times, and the enemies seem to benefit the most from that. Now I don't have a 4K TV and/or a PS4 Pro (not sure if that's needed), so I didn't really mess around with the graphics options that comes with this version. The story is rather hard, maybe impossible to follow. It seems the last of humanity is confined to a tower. How, when and why isn't really explained. A short cutscene is shown prior to the start of each chapter, as well as upon its completion, but none of them put together really explains things. Each of the 3 playable characters have their own background stories, but with everything else, the story is short. Even though the areas you can actually enter are limited, I rather enjoyed the setup of the world in Resonance of Fate. Sure you're limited to the tower, but it has 4 distinctive areas The top 3 floors are basically for the leaders and the elite types. Floors 4-6 are about the best that ordinary people can hope to live on, and generally speaking not so bad. The 7th to the 9th floor have been frozen over, and as such used for food and medicinal storage areas. Finally floors 10-12 appear to be the floors where the mining occurs at. Conditions down there are not so great as seen once you reach the town down there. Some of the backgrounds have been very well done and actually makes you believe you're in one of the areas you're exploring. The battle system is where Resonance of Fate sets itself apart from other RPGs. Whether you get attacked via random battle or just encounter enemies while exploring an area the setup is usually the same. You can move around pretty much the entire room you're exploring, and while you move the enemies move too. The most common weapon in RoF are guns, although some enemies (while players can too but not recommended) attack with melee, and some even with missiles, flame throwers and grenades. Now depending on how far away from the enemies you are will determine how fast you can attack them. Shooting at them while on opposite sides of the screen probably won't work, while standing next to each other will allow for quick attacks on each other. There are a lot of other things I could go on all day about for the battle system, but maybe this video will help explain what I'm trying to talk about. Do note it is in Japanese. If you're looking for a different type of game and you've never played this before, I'd recommend it. Being an older game that was just remastered does leave you with a decision. You'll have to order a disc from Amazon or Ebay if you want a physical copy for the PS3, or buy it digitally (not sure if it was released physically or not) for the PS4. Depending on how well you grasp the overall concept of the game, the platinum will set you back between 80-100 hours. Most of this time will come from but not limited to: Finishing the game the first time Making sure you finish all the quests the first time through the game Earning a star in all 50 arena ranks (requires winning 500 battles) Defeating 3000 enemies, when 1-6 randomly appear for each battle Destroying 3000 body parts. Similar to above, but not all enemies have body parts to destroy, and the average number is 2, with some of the end game enemies with 4 or 5. Grinding for energy hexes to make every hex accessible again Grinding for colored energy hexes to power up the terminals, and get them connected to the arena to make things slightly easier Throwing 1000 grenades. The most in one turn is one, but using a hero action, you could possibly get as many as 5 or 6 thrown.

Popular Post Venocide
#157, 158 & 159: The Persona Endless Night Collection I was a little dissapointed with the newer Persona dancing games, I thought they would have had more features than that. I know there wasn't gonna be a story mode, but that was replaced with the social links, I didn't really care for it. As usual though the music did not dissapoint, I can see myself getting a hold of both OST's. I think my favorite song is Last Surprice from Persona 5 DIS for... reasons, I really did like the music video that went a long with it . Playing thr Persona 3 DIM has made me want a Persona 3 remade from the ground up even more than before, those new models look so slick. Persona 4 Dancing All Night remains my favorite out of the dancing trilogy. Edited December 11, 2018 by Venocide

But thanks to someone in the forums here I finally got it by replaying one particular level on hard from chapter select. I really loved the story of this game although at the end I tought by myself: "What is going on here?". The controls are sometimes annoying to work with but nothing to be bad. Hard is doable if you gather all extra lifes and if you are patience towards the end of the game. I really recommend this game and please go in blind if you haven't played the game before.
Popular Post madbuk
#290 - LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham I liked this game a lot more than The LEGO Movie on Vita. It has the same level structure where they're all incredibly short, but there are a lot of them, however unlike LEGO Movie, you don't need to repeat these levels over and over and over. There are no multi-challenges, no time trials, no "don't get hit"s. It's just a traditional LEGO game, find all the various collectibles, do some relatively simple combat challenges (3 counters, 3 ground finishers, kill x enemies, etc.), and I liked that there was a hub world as well (which Movie didn't have.) The console version is definitely better, which is to be expected, but I enjoyed this for what it was. The story was nothing special, and it's quite forgettable (I remembered literally none of it going into this after the console version, which should speak volumes on the quality of it lol), but that's fine. I don't really play LEGO games for a deep story. This is one of the best of the Vita LEGO games I've played so far and I can definitely recommend it if you enjoy the franchise and don't mind something slightly worse than what you'd expect on consoles.
