Popular Post sona_11
#106 Akiba's Beat Beat Akiba's Enjoyment : 1 / 10 Difficulty : 4 / 10 This game is a combination of Tokyo Xanadu and Tales of, but it actually fail in every aspects. The game has a lame jokes, cringe characters, and boring story. The gameplay feels like you're playing a PS2 game and the graphics is non-existence. Also, I hate how the game force you to re-explore the dungeons over and over and over again in every chapter for no particular reason. They just want to make the game longer so they let you repeat the same thing the whole game. I honestly skipped 75% of the cut-scene (if you can actually call them that) because only 25% that matters, the rest are joke about how the protagonist is always late ? I don't recommend this game at all, avoid it for your own sake. I still don't know how I finished it
Popular Post Draps-1337
#71 Tearaway: Unfolded What a chore! Inferior to Tearaway on Vita, but essentially the same game if your don't have a vita. The gophers were a pain in the butt. Which is a new addition to the Vita version? You definitely want to leave a while between playing the titles. Otherwise, pretty easy platinum, just a little time consuming, and the game overstays it's welcome a bit.
Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#104 - Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Is that all you got? Honestly this ps+ game was a godsend, birthday next week and I was gonna get it anyway, just saves me spending money. A nice little throwback to the first every call of duty game I ever managed to platinum. Difficulty: 2/10 - Absolute cakewalk versus last time, after the last time I did it I had 3 hard drive corruptions and 3 separate restarts to do spec ops, which I believe would probably be way easier for me now considering skill level has probably increased. Veteran I did first and had like 3 deaths all game. Absolute joy to play, only thing of difficulty is the bird hunter miscellaneous took a couple attempts to pop up. Other than that absolute delight to play. Enjoyment: 8/10 - Now there's no more online unfortunately but the actual game itself was absoutely fun, never felt bored of it despite playing the campaign three times in 5 days. If you're an avid cod fan this platinum is for you. Only gripe is probably too easy haha.

xPhrance
Platinum # Five | J-Stars Victory VS+ Difficulty - 4/10 Enjoyment - 7/10 I know a lot of people hate arena fighting games. Aside from the tedium I had to go through in getting this plat I do believe this was a step in the right direction into making a legitimate arena fighter. The characters are fun as hell, the combos are easy but has some bit of depth to them just some of the assists not just for support characters but battle characters as well seem a lil unbalanced. I do think this was close to making a legit arena fighter that could be popular one that has the budget and attention to character balancing the genre as far as I know. With stuff like the arena fighters for for One Piece, Naruto, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Black Clover, etc. I do believe that the storm games did something good for arena fighters but the systems at play only could work in the realm of Naruto and with One Piece after grand battle back in the day the modern arena fighter in this case Burning Blood has felt more like a cash crab to capitalize on the hype of the anime like the games for My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Black Clover and I believe Demon Slayer as well is getting an arena fighter. Regardless my point stands, I haven't played those arena fighters but with public perception and/or with how fast they are forgotten about once they drop there has to be a patterns. I could be wrong if anyone has played those games let me know how they are. I only own Burning Blood out of this list so if I also didn't give that enough of a shot let me know and I'll try playing it again. Overall the game isn't difficult just prepare for a tedious grind especially to get the 2 golds before the Plat but if you do love the combat like I did with enough patience you can get through it all. I think a great arena could be made that is popular, there just hasn't been enough of an effort to pull it off in my opinion I'm open to being wrong though. Also I just started trophy hunting so don't judge me for only having 5 plats at the moment XD. Edited August 7, 2020 by xPhrance

Popular Post MissShake
#50: Samurai Shodown: Neogeo Collection A True Samurai Spirit Obtain all other trophies I haven't got a plat in a VERY long time. My motivation to get trophies was sort of killed by my need to have a big game for my 50th plat, and it took me over five months to just go ahead and pick a game that I personally like. It doesn't matter if it's not a UR, plats are meant to be fun and they're meant to be a list that I personally am proud of. So even outside of the trophy itself it feels REALLY good to pop this trophy Now onto the game itself. I've always been a fan of SNK games, but I've definitely had the hardest time playing old Samurai Shodown games in the past. When I heard that this had savestates I knew this game would finally be doable for my completely untalented fighting game bran lol. Even with the savestates, and even when all the games were put on the lowest difficulty I still struggled. SNK games can be so ridiculous sometimes, but that sort of made winning feel a lot more satisfying. This collection is excellent, the gallery alone is above and beyond the expectations. I haven't seen a fighting game collection that has pro matches, much less a breakdown of what's happening in them! I'd definitely give this collection a buy, but I think that waiting for a sale is probably the way to go
Popular Post TheActualMeg4cy
#54 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered Is That All You Got? It has been quite sometime since COD ever blessed my existence (last game to play and actually care to platinum was the Vita COD!) and let's just be honest - the older CODs are a bit more interesting in terms of story and gameplay, at least, personally. MW2:RE (oh man, the name for the game absolutely sucks!) is quite decent, really in terms of the port. The graphics are quite pleasant to view (models in particular looked absolutely stunning) whereas sounds were unchanged by the sounds of it (no pun intended!) but that might just be my ears playing some tricks on me. The game overall is pretty much cut down from the MP and Spec-Ops into 1 single mode - Campaign. This is actually not too much of a bad thing however as the co-op mode (Spec-Ops) consisted of a few difficult missions and challenges that were frankly quite difficult unless you had the patience of a saint. This however generated the most *annoying* trophy in this collection - Immortal. Immortal requires you to complete the game on any difficulty without dying. This is fairly easy on paper considering you're able to play it on recruit but the game just felt so strange in terms of AI, loads of nades being thrown around even on the lowest difficulty and even some weird hit detection that practically got me killed once or twice via melee attacks. I don't really have too much to say other than the fact that it was played again for the purpose of getting some easy relaxing trophies while enjoying the bliss of some decent campaign action. PS+ is a god-sent for giving us these games, really. I would recommend players of the original to pop on for the experience and easier platinum and of course, newer players are more than welcome to join in on the fun! Just be aware that playing through the game on Vet without prior experience might not be the best idea. Difficulty 4/10 (some decent areas of difficulty though some rather poor trophy detection) Enjoyment 7/10 (it was fun to experience the game again, though the campaign probably hasn't aged too well in terms of objective)
Popular Post Viper
#195 DOOM: Eternal Heavy Metal Honestly, this game was a lot of fun at times...but I preferred the 2016 game. They tried to switch things up here by giving you a very low ammo pool (even when upgraded), so you had to manage your health, armor and ammo with different tactics, all while fiending off constant armies of enemies and trying to platform to get hidden items. On paper this should be a perfect storm for gameplay...but...it gets tedious to the point of almost having too much to do and think about at once. One of the reason I loved 2016 DOOM so much was because it was just fast paced, "shoot-shit-in-the-face" gameplay...and I wanted more of that. I just feel like Id tried to do too much here.Plus some of the levels feel WAYYY too long, taking me as much as 2 hours to complete on a couple of them with very little time to breathe or think about my next move. Also the soundtrack was better in the first game. It wasn't bad in this game by any means...but it didn't get me as pumped, it sounded more generic.Overall it's still Doom and I enjoyed it. I would just prefer they went back to what they did with 2016. I couldn't put that game down...this one just didn't keep my interest as much. Popular Post Jelly Soup
#124 - Crypt of the Serpent King Don't buy $3 games, guys. Just don't. In all honestly, it's not terrible. It's pretty much just some student project made in Unity using stock assets. The difficulty curve on the harder difficulties is enough to provide a decent challenge. The AI tracking is both terrible and strangely brilliant at the same time. Once a monster sees you, it beelines for you. If you break eye contact for more than a few seconds, the AI will just stop. You can see this in action by kiting a monster to a key room, then jumping over a spike/lava pit. The monster will either walk right up to the edge and stop moving, or spin around in circle for a moment. And the start of the hardest difficulty pretty much requires you to kite things around until you get better weapons. Problem I had is the AI will randomly decide to start tracking you again, even if it doesn't make line of sight. So I'm running around kiting two monster when I'm suddenly jumpscared by two more from three rooms away who suddenly decided to join the part. What I'm saying is, it's not a good game, but I still had fun with it. Slight recommend should it be $3 or under. Edit: Also, forgot to mention, that platinum got me to PSN Level 38. Popular Post MoOnLiGhTD3ViL7
#99 Final Fantasy VII Remake Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 A great experience and really enjoyed the characters both from the original and newcomers. Felt like I was part of a movie, but for the plat itself, that's when it became head in the game/focused. Hard mode can be challenging at points and the optional bosses like in all Final Fantasy games are challenging. However, once you prove your worth on them, it is very fulfilling. 10/10 Plat fulfillment game if willing to take upon the challenge.
djb5f
#105 American Ninja Warrior Challenge Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Platinum Rarity: 17.92% If you are familiar with the American version of TV reality game show, this game holds true down to having the same obstacles and announcers, which you can unlock and play with as contestants (ninjas) - in quick play anyway This game is fairly bare bones and does not have much polish but I largely enjoyed it. Learning and improving at the obstacles gives a sense of satisfaction, especially completing Vegas Stage 3 in Under 2 minutes, which is probably the toughest trophy. You are best served to do this in a later season once you level up your ninja. Once you get there, it will come naturally. On the other hand, this game can be a little aggravating if you don’t conquer the hold-and-release type obstacles (not really explained, more trial and error until it clicks). Other times, your inputs on QTE events did not seem to register right. But the worst part were the occasional glitches where your ninja would crumble like he was hitting an invisible wall coming off the rope swing for example. And always at inopportune times. Also, way too many blue screen shut downs. So while this game has some issues, it is still fun for what it is. And improving and winning all challenges/trophies feels like an accomplishment as the platinum rate is surprisingly lower than 20%. The game itself is short and more worthy a rental than a purchase.. Verdict: Slight Recommendation (if you are a fan of the show or know what you are getting into). Edited August 7, 2020 by djb5f

Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #162 - Assassin's Creed Black Flag (PS4) This one felt really good to finally pop. Assassin's Creed Black Flag released during the transitional period between the PS3 and the PS4. At this time there was a thing that Sony and a select number of game studios were doing in which you could upgrade your PS3 physical license to a PS4 license. All you needed to do was pay $10 and have your PS3 disc in the drive in order to play the PS4 version. This was the only game I can recall upgrading and I always find it odd putting a PS3 disc into a PS4. Initially, I did not like this game as much as others. The main attraction, pirating, was cool, but I found it repetative after a while. After a couple years the concept finally seemed appealing and I decided to 100% the game.Platinum The music in this game is one of the things that really kept me playing. Everything from the shanties to the theme music was really well done. This has become one of my favorite AC games and I am currently finishing up the PS3 version as well. Platinum Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Platinum #163 - Unraveled (PS4) Got this game because a friend was telling me how much he loved the games in this little series. This wasn't a particularly tough game to finish, but the platinum does require deathless runs on each stage. I made the mistake of trying out the second game before playing this game. Unraveled in comparison to Unraveled 2 is a lot stiffer in terms of controls. That said, there are certain mechanics that are taken out in Unraveled 2 that I actually enjoyed in Unraveled. The game is probably 3~4 hours in length if you play it just for the story. Add on another 7~9 hours if you're going for full completion. Platinum Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 231 - TALES OF VESPERIA I had so much fun with this entry, what a gem of a game. I’m still surprised Bandai Namco initially made such an amazing entry exclusively for Japanese Xbox gamers. Tales of Vesperia is indeed one of the best entries in the series, and should be played by all the Tales of fans and rpg aficionados. No bowling, no Alex/Roger, and some of the most forgettable characters. Dlc included Negan from The Walking Dead, Geese Howard from KoF/Fatal Fury, and FF XIV's Noctis. Popular Post DamagingRob
#470- Samurai Shodown Samurai Shodown Earn all trophies in the game. Well, this didn't take long. Fine with me, I guess. Wasn't too bad of a game, but the loading times were atrocious. I literally had to wait 35-40 seconds between fights in Story mode. Loading might have been better elsewhere, but I didn't spend enough time in other modes to notice. An all black screen with a rabbit running with an axe in the bottom corner, with the word "loading..." underneath.. I have no idea what this has to do with the game, or why they were so fricking long. The actual fights were shorter. There's not a whole lot of content, either. And a pretty repetitive and boring trophy list. 100 fights against a ghost; I just used my own, since the other option forces you to do two round fights, and I couldn't be arsed to find someone else's I could beat. 18 playthroughs of Story mode, which adds up to another 162 fights against A.I. Supposed to be 17, but one didn't count I guess? A few super easy participation online trophies, which is good since it isn't that active. And I lost every one. The only somewhat difficult trophy is for clearing the Gauntlet. Gauntlet mode has you fight every base game character and the final boss of Story mode, and you can't lose even once. Otherwise, you start all over. The A.I. is a bit more difficult here, too. The trophy guide says to use Haohmaru, but I wasn't having a lot of luck with him. When I did clear the first 16 fights, I'd just get wrecked by the final boss. So, I searched for an alternate method, and found one on True Achievements. First try with Earthquake using the methods described, I stomped through all the way to the boss. And then barely lost to her.. But on the second attempt, I managed to win. The fighting system is interesting. I don't know how to describe it. I guess it's more technical than others? You can't do insane combos, but the damage from attacks is massive. Fights don't last long, especially if they're only one round. You can also disarm your opponent with the right timing, and without a weapon their attacks won't be as good. Not to mention powerful and flashy supers that can really turn the tide of battle, and take off over half a health bar. But if you miss or it's blocked, that's it for the rest of the fight. The game is also very violent. Lol. It's not nearly as bad as Mortal Kombat, but it's above a lot of others. Lots of blood, and you can even cut fighters in half. Though the graphics aren't super realistic, either. It kinda resembles Street Fighter. And I guess that's really all I have to say about this one. I did get a good laugh out of the "ladies man," though. Takes off running after he wins, and four women come on the screen heading in his direction. I know the feeling, my g. Popular Post ZoutjeNL
#44 Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10 After completing AC2 I continued with Brotherhood. Overall I liked this one more than 2. The story is pretty good not sure if I like 2 or Brotherhood more. 2 has multiple cities so that is what I liked more about 2. But overall this game felt better. Some new tools got introduced and Full Sync started appearing. Overall the trophies were quite easy and luckilly this time around you can buy the flag maps to see where the collectibles are which was quite painfull in the 2nd game. The only hard trophies had to do with Full Sync. Overall I liked the introduction of full sync which makes the game a bit more challenging but the downside it takes away the freedom. There were a handfull Sync missions I had to replay but overall the difficulty wasn't so bad.
