Popular Post xxEliteCDxx
Platinum Trophy # 66 - Gravel Platinum Difficulty: 2/10 Gravel is an arcade-style off-road racing game. It's an easy game to play and the interface of the game was easy to follow. The game is divided into several chapters, and each chapter has a plethora of events. The aim is to obtain 3 stars in each of the events. There are several boss stages as well. Regarding it's trophy list, most of the trophies are easy to obtain. The two most challenging ones are the following: Like a Train trophy: Maintain "High Speed" for 40 consecutive seconds Reckless Drifter trophy: Sustain a drift for at least 7 seconds After beating all of the bosses, the platinum requires a bit of grinding, for reaching level 99 and unlocking all of the liveries. Popular Post RedSkyKing
Platinum #56 Alien: Isolation Enjoyment 8/10 Difficulty 5/10 5.56% One of the most intense and stressful games I've played in recent memory! The alien itself has always been the symbol horror to me, everything about it is insanely creepy to me. Even when playing on novice difficulty I found myself getting nervous and sweaty ? Did I enjoy my time playing this? Oh absolutely! I might even play through on nightmare at some point just to experience the true terror Alien has to offer!

Popular Post WayfarerFox
Infamous First Light Time to platinum: 8 hours | Difficulty: 2/10 | Enjoyment:6/10 Overview Set 2 years before the events of Infamous: Second Son. You play as Fetch someone who helps Delsin along his journey in the main game. This game is a glorified DLC luckily that came out on PS+ years ago. You re-live the events that happened from being in Seattle and why Fetch was captured in the end. All the way to her escape at the start of Second son. Basic overview but it's a pretty basic game. Your brother gets captured by a rival gang and you have to get him back. Gameplay Pretty much the same as your typical Infamous game and if you've played Second Son before you'll know what Fetchs powers are like with Delsin. They are exactly the same except more fleshed out because she's had them longer and yeah. It makes sense to me anyway. You only have access to the first half of Seattle and there isn't a ton to do honestly. You have to collect lights which act as Skill points, graffiti which you have to control with your motion controller and also do a couple of races getting big lights that give more than one SP. Everythings simple. Story is really simple and really quick to get through. Then you have an Arena mode where you get to fight wave after wave of enemies. Characters Not many characters in the game honestly. Fetch who I don't really like. She never thinks things through and is constantly just doing whatever she wants. Boring really in my opinion. Brent. He was the only good character and he was in the game for about 5 minutes. Shane, just your typical loves himself person and Jenny. Who you don't even see besides one scene. Trophies All trophies are doable and nothing is missable. There is your basic story trophies which you'll get, you guessed it. While playing the story. Couple of msics which you will 100% get while trying to get all of the challenges. The other trophies are challenge related. You need to complete every challenge in the game. Some may seem overwhelming but they're really not when doing the arenas you'll get them no problems. Conclussion Honestly, the only reason I gave the game a 6 was because of the arena mode but that gets boring fast. Otherwise its a 4 or a 5. It's just not interesting. Her powers are cool but the story and characters just don't do it for me but luckily the glorified DLC is a really short and not a game that will pull your hair out. A much shorter post this time due to the fact it's not a full game and there's not much to say about it besides beat the game and finish the arenas. That's literally all there is to it. If this game wasn't a game offered on PS+ way back when I wouldn't of bothered to pick it up.
Popular Post Arcesius
Platinum #71 – Trials Rising The Pitch Take your dust-collecting Trials bike out of the garage on a trip around the world, earning Platinum medals while on Safari in Africa or conquering Extreme tracks in Asia, and compete not only against other PS4 players, but against everyone else on the planet! 100% Enjoyment 100% Challenge The Best: I have to start this once more by emphasizing how much I love the Trials games... I still can't believe that I had never played them before, and they are suddenly among my favorite games ever, but hey, it's very nice to still be able to have such nice surprises nowadays Anyways, the best bits about Trials Rising... For one, it's more Trials As for the superficial but still important aspects, instead of the futuristic Techno-theme that Fusion had going on, Rising has now a Punk / Rock theme that I personally find much more appealing. This is reflected both in the style of the game, as well as in the music, and I would often find myself riding to Trivium, Sum 41 and other similar bands I used to listen to a long time ago (and for some reason classical music would play during the Crash & Sunburn Extremes... Weird, but ok ). And of course the graphics are much nicer than in Fusion. But what is way more important is that the tracks are extremely creative and fun to ride. I enjoyed the "global" theme, of participating in races and tournaments all around the world, and really loved how the tracks were designed to be in the style of the place they represent... Riding over containers on a frozen cargo-ship in Antarctica, crashing the tomato festival in Spain, riding on a moving transiberian train on its way to Beijing... Incredibly well-designed and innovative tracks that were a lot of fun to ride, that's for sure! And while on my first playthrough (I just played all tracks getting Gold medals without even looking at the trophies) I didn't really remember the tracks since I would mostly get Gold on my first or second attempt, coming back to them to get the Squirrels or Misc Trophies made me realize that they actually left a very positive impact The Worst: Even if you enjoy a game a lot, there will always be certain aspects that you don't care about as much... That's no different here. From a technical perspective, this game is of course a lot more ambitious than Fusion, but this results in longer loading times and somewhat missing textures at points. It's not that bad, but it's noticeable. But again, these are minor nitpicks. I don't really know why, but initially all Ghosts I had to ride against were from random players. This changed at some point, probably when I had already established a good time on a track, and from that point on it would often ride against at least one or two Ghosts from my friends list. Maybe it has to do with all of the people on my list that played the game already having Gold / Platinum medals everywhere, and the game wants to measure you also against slower players? I dunno, but I found this weird Once again I did not necessarily care for the Skill Games... I dunno, it's just not what I want to do in a Trials game. Some were fun, like the Power-Bike or Hill Climb, easily the hardest skill game for me, but most were pretty forgettable. For example, there is a Rodeo skill-game where you need to try and stay atop a rotating platform, and this one seems to be 100% RNG... Why is there such a luck-based minigame in this otherwise skill-focused game? Luckily I got a Gold medal on this one within 5 minutes, as I got good RNG and had only to survive two rotations of the platform... Still, I didn't enjoy this one at all. Other than the Skill Games, I grew to enjoy the track-selection from the world map, but I wasn't a fan of it initially. If you don't use the filter system, the map is very crowded pretty quickly. And when you are starting out, using the filter isn't necessarily very helpful, especially if you don't really know in which "Series" the track is that you are looking for... Oh and speaking of which, for a newcomer to the Trials series, it's probably welcome that there are so many Easy and Medium tracks. But for someone that has already experience with Trials, I would have enjoyed more getting to the Hard and Extreme tracks a bit quicker. And lastly, the lootboxes. I know, they are only cosmetic and you get them as rewards for completing tracks, challenges, etc... But why are they even here!?! The connection to the Ubisoft servers was often pretty bad, and I would need to open the same crate three or four times before it would show me its content. I stopped caring eventually, but it would have been nice to put together a decently-looking rider The Challenge: Let me start this by saying that the difficulty rating above can be misleading. This is an extremely difficult game! However, I mastered the Trials basics in Fusion, and thus overcame the extremely steep learning curve in that game. For people that have never played Fusion (or any other Trials game), this game will be extremely difficult to complete. In fact, I would say that the requirements for the Platinum are really demanding. For one, you need to get a Gold medal pretty much EVERYWHERE. Initially this might not be an issue, but getting Gold on the Hard and especially on the Extreme tracks can definitely be a daunting challenge to a newcomer. Personally I didn't really have many issues, with only two or three Extremes from the DLC giving me a bit of a headache (Warehouse HD, Frozen Leviathan), but I remember when I got to the Hard tracks in Fusion, I definitely struggled even getting Silver But it is probably even harder to get Gold on certain Skill Games. Hill Climb gave me the most trouble, and even using the Hellium I needed about an hour to get it done, and Loose Screw is probably extremely difficult without the Donkey exploit. But that's not the end of it. You need to 1-fault and 0-fault an Extreme track, get at least seven Platinum medals, two Diamond medals, ... it's a really demanding set of requirements for that 100%. But extremely fun, too Oh, and I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but if you are struggling with Unyielding... Just use the Turtle Bike I initially started going for that Trophy with the Rhino, when suddenly I remembered having seen the Turtle (had not bought it yet). Made the Trophy pretty much free. And finally, let's not forget the tutorial... Professor FatShady, from the "University of Trials", has (rightfully so) his own set of tutorial levels in this game. Getting an A+ on all of his tracks is no joke! Especially the Consecutive Bunny-Hop, Rear-Wheel Bounce and the 30ish seconds Time Trial can be really difficult! I cannot begin to imagine how borderline impossible those have to be for a newcomer. However, precisely these tutorial levels are the reason I would recommend starting with Rising over Fusion, even though, overall, the latter is probably still the more satisfying game

This game was loads of fun, albeit with a few annoying platforming sections (The Final Climb...UGH!). The story was largely forgettable, and the controls were very....early PS3-era wonky. But overall I should have played this much sooner...would love a new game in the series now, I think with the way Assassin's Creed has evolved so much, Ubisoft could do something truly incredible with one of these games now.
Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #135 Modern Tales: Age of Invention Common: 87.26% Difficulty: 1/10. Enjoyment: 7/10. Graphics: 6/10 Platinum Time: 14 hours and 10 minutes. I really enjoy mysterious, puzzles, magic, crime and Point n Click adventure games like Modern Tales: Age of Invention. Getting all collectibles took some time probing through place to place and most of the collectibles were very well concealed. The Story took place when Emily's father was kidnapped from the beginning and in the end I rescue him and stop the evil bastard villain who did it. No expert difficulty was needed and I spam through HO puzzles and getting it done was a cool breeze.

Popular Post bbaauuiiss97
#649 Arc of Alchemist (EU) I feel like this game had a lot of potential, but unfortunately it just needed a lot more work in every aspect to be the great game I dreamt of this being while playing through it. I get what they were going for and the game gave me some feels, I can see a glimmer of something very special in it and I'm kinda just left with an empty feeling when there wasn't more to it. Some more time in the oven would really have done wonders for this game I think, though it's still a fun little game that's worthwhile to play if you are looking for something short and mindless to run through.

I just played a little bit each day for the last 3+ weeks and got good enough to beat it after falling in LOVE with this game all the way back in 2018. Back-to-back rarest platinums for me... dunno what's in the water down here.

Popular Post MissShake
#51: The Sims 4 Ultimate Sim Guru Earn all trophies. I was feeling a bit motivated after popping my 50th so I went ahead and got this one done too. The gallery feature really does make this plat much quicker, but there's still a bit of effort required for it. It got to a point where I was getting distracted and just played the game for a little bit, and I forgot I was even trying for trophies lol. The Sims is a fun time, but I can't really see myself playing it consistently on the PS4. Maybe I'll buy it on PC someday
Omelette Paradise
#389 & #390 - Deep Space Rush (EU Vita & PS4) A rather simple run & gun that's actually too simple for it's own good. The levels are randomly generated but there isn't a great deal of variety to them and you'll have seen everything the game has to offer in about 5 minutes. There are upgrades you can buy for the weapons and additional perks but it's pretty run of the mill stuff. Worth picking up for a couple of £'s as I did but that's it. Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #173: Borderlands 3 (PS4) Probably one of the easier Borderlands platinums out there. The only real challenges were 1) the Slaughterhouse 3000's arena missions and 2) dealing with all of the crashes/frame rate issues that happen while playing the game with others. That kind of ruined the experience with it. Plat #174: Gris (PS4) Fun little quick indie game. Needed a game to get me one step closer to the 175th milestone, and this is the game that I needed. Now onward to the milestone...
Popular Post Rias Gremory
Platinum #136 Path of Sin: Greed Common: 81.37% Difficulty: 1/10. Enjoyment: 7/10. Graphics: 7/10. Platinum Time: 6 hours and 13 minutes. Today was fun and score another platinum in the bag. This one has no expert difficulty which I can still blitz through the game fast like a speeding bullet. Collectibles weren't tough to find in the game, sometimes it disappears and then reappears again and had no problems at all. Doing 2 visions was annoying as fuck. The only minor setback problem I had was I overlap the first vision and screw it up. After 45 minutes later I did it properly and got it done right. I still have alot more to do on Artifex Mundi games and finish more off before I can do Triple AAA games. Popular Post Deadly_Ha_Ha
# 31 - Castle Crashers Difficulty - 5/10 Enjoyment - 6/10 I had just gotten done with FF7R and was sitting next to my friends when I remembered that some time ago we all got Castle Crashers to play as a coop plat. Felt like the right time, so we got to it. The game really just consists of a casual play through with whichever characters you feel like playing as, as almost nothing was even challenging enough to get our completely undivided attention towards the game. I will say that it wasn't quite as much fun as I remember it being when we played it on the 360 years ago, but I still had fun playing a game with my friends for a change. As for the difficulty, again there really was none in the base game. One or two bosses required any particular effort at all, but I would have rated this game a 3/10 for difficulty if not for the The Final Countdown - easily the most grueling and abysmal trophy of the lot, and ironically one of only two silver trophies out of a list of two silver and the rest gold. It's this stupid minigame that's completely out of place in Castle Crashers and having done it, feels almost random (just what you want in any trophy). Took more effort, intensity, and frustration to get than all the other trophies combined. # 32 - Nex Machina Difficulty - 8/10 Enjoyment - 7/10 After Castle Crashers I decided that between the two typical types of games I play, either hard ones or RPG's, that I wasn't ready to go back to the grind quite just yet. Nex Machina had been sitting on the shelf for a while but I'm a fan of House Marque, having gotten the plats for Resogun and Dead Nation. Well between those games, Nex Machina is easily the most challenging. There were moments I was still confident I'd get through, but that seriously pushed me. I thought this game was just an amazing effort on their part. You have to run through the same six worlds so many times you could do them blindfolded practically, but the difficulty increase between Experienced, Veteran, and Master make it so different an experience it amazed me. The trophies are also very fair in my opinion. Nothing they ask of you is beyond the pale, they do simply ask that you get better and better at the game. I almost rated this a 9 in difficulty, but honestly it having only taken me a week of on-off play, it just was really hard instead of approaching impossible.
