Popular Post Sailar91
PGA Tour 2K23 | PS4/PS5 | | Trophy Guide Dreams | PS4/PS5 | ✅ | Trophy Guide Death’s Door | PS4/PS5 | | Trophy Guide ========================================== Even after a year off, PGA Tour 2K23 returns offering minimal progress from its preceding, prior-generation edition. A new three-click swing is an unforgiving mess, it’s somehow worse at emulating the look and feel of televised golf, and the few spurts of personality that’ve been layered on can’t counter developer HB Studios’ penchant for preserving pro golf’s elitism above all, or the apparent terror of breaking from that form. At least PGA Tour 2K23 can define itself through the properly challenging golf sim at its heart and the barebones career mode that stands all but alone in its menus. It’s a cliche, but Dreams really is something that needs to be played to fully grasp an understanding of. It’s unlike anything else: an ambitious project that has been expertly brought to life by Media Molecule, and an audacious experiment in game design that gives you endless ways to enjoy your time with it. The creation tools allow for ultimate expression despite there being a few controller related challenges to work around – never enough to deter. The vast range of experiences already on offer via Dream Surfing means that no two sessions playing it are ever the same, offering fresh ways to have fun every time you start it up and see what community creations have popped up while you’ve been away. Whether you just want to create, purely play, or get involved in a bit of everything, Dreams offers it all to you. This is one dream I urge you not to sleep on. Death’s Door is a must for those looking to scratch the itch of a classic Zelda dungeon-delving game, with the added bonus of impeccable combat against waves of foes in a creepy world. Secrets are plentiful enough to offset the low variety of rewards, and the cohesion of puzzle-solving and combat encounters worked terrifically to challenge me in all the right ways. While I wish the adventure didn’t end so soon, as a reaper of souls I should know: nothing lasts forever. kidson2004
Another month in the backlog for me. But I’m hella surprised about that PGA game on there.
ThatMuttGuy
Been wanting to play Death's Door for a while, and Dreams seems decent if not grindy too. Pass on PGA though. Not a bad month honestly.
sk_lp_him
Sports game - bleurgh. Terrible trash month. There should be an option in the poll for "none of the games interests me".

Abby_TheLastofUs
Whenever the lineup doesn't leak, I get the feeling that the leaker didn't bother because they assume most people would find the games disappointing. I can see that with next month's games, but Death's Door is worth giving a shot. It's by the devs that made Titan Souls and I've heard it's a pretty good Zelda-like game. And anyone interested in developing games should give Dreams a try. Just to mess around with. Edited July 26, 2023 by Abby_TheLastofUs
ZenaxPure
Golf and Dreams is pretty whatever for me, but, Death's Door is actually on my wish list so that makes me happy. It's been a pretty long time since we've gotten a game I had fully intended on buying at some point.

GUDGER666
No interest in any of these. That PGA sucks! Just another month used for advertisement. Isn't it bad to put Dreams on when it's losing support 1 month after it's on plus? Edited July 26, 2023 by GUDGER666
DrBloodmoney
Death's Door is a decent little game - it's in the vein of Tunic (though a little more combat focussed, and not as good, but still decent)

sillyrobo75
I am very interested in Death’s Door, was tempted to buy it a couple of times but skipped on that because I had other stuff to play. As for the other 2 games, not really for me.
StraightVege
Well, I'd be tickled pink to get Death's Door, if I hadn't already bought it last year. Should really get around to playing it someday soon, actually. Dreams also seems like a fine acquisition for the creative, artistic folks out there. I've got a longtime PSN buddy who creates truly amazing stuff with it, but since I'm talentless in that regard, I think I'll pass.
Burritoprime
With the new tier of plus would be naive to think Sony would give acess to great games on the basic like this, Death's Door looks interesting but like everything they give that might interest me I already have it. plafix68
I was instantly disappointed when I saw PGA as the headliner, but Dreams and Death's Door seem pretty solid. I've been interested in Dreams but then thought support was about to run out for it. I didn't want to get burned again like with LBP but maybe this will keep it going for a little longer. Death's Door looks fun and the type of game that I would have probably continued overlooking if not for PS Plus. Not a great month but there have definitely been worse. djb5f
I may try PGA if I can find time for it. No interest in the others.
Lordguwa
2 of the games are backlog candidates. PGA2023 not so much (it says 3/10 difficulty) but sports games bring the difficulty up several notches for me.
mega-tallica
Golf is in the same category for me as tennis and soccer; less than zero interest to anything related to those things. Death's Door looks semi-interesting though. That'll be another claim-but-never-play game probably for me. Last few months have been pretty good so we were due for a dud month which is fine. I'm okay with not every month catering to what I want as I rarely ever play the free games anyway and the good games that do come out for it I usually already have. Sydoki
Yes, the month is shitty...but I highly recommend Death Door! Don't sleep on it! You can finish it in under 15h - and this is with you going in semi-blindly and taking your time exploring and enjoying the game. The game only has 3 missable trophies (which can be easily tackled) and can be done in 1 playthrough (2 if you want an easier learning experience).
Oberlin1694
Death’s Door is fantastic, but I already own it. Dreams doesn’t appeal to me. PGA… like why? I hate Sports games with a passion as do many, stop wasting slots on them Sony.
Moridin83
Death's Door is good, but I already own it. Not really interested in the other 2. Happy for anyone who hasn't played Death's Door, as it's really solid, but probably under the radar for a lot of people, but a bad month for me.
