Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Alpha Plat Rain - Detroit: Become Human OK I am just going to say I wish I hadn't played this game twice in a row...I ended my first playthrough loving the story...and ended the second playthrough nitpicking all the stupid stuff in the story. So that being said I am going to stay positive in this review because my initial playthrough was very good. For those interested I did the following Spoiler Marcus was peaceful, Kara went to Canada and no one was sacrificed and Connor never died and joined the resistance. OK I will fully admit I got a little choked up when the androids were marching down the street chanting freedom, freedom. And I chose to Sing at the end and once again that made me tear up a bit. A little backstory-my family was rounded up by the Germans during WW2 and were forced to stand in a line while a priest marked their passports with a Star or a Cross. When the priest saw my great-grandmother holding her children he began to weep and marked a Cross on their passports allowing them to go to the labour camps instead of the concentration camps. When that border crossing person allowed the androids to cross the borders without checking to see if they were androids it hit home hard for me. My family and their friends would gather after labouring all day and sing to remember where they came from and no matter if it was the Russians or the Germans they remembered they were Ukrainian and nothing could change that...that is why those parts made me tear up. Thanks for letting me share. That is why I don't want to be negative on the rest of the game. Those choices were not my choices and I refuse to let that first playthough be tarnished by them. I will say the twist (you know what I am talking about) was stupid and I saw it from a mile away. Seriously if anyone didn't guess that was going to happen they weren't paying attention. It was just a really stupid twist and it took away from what those characters were building. Finally as a Canadian...FUCK YEAH WE WERE THE GOOD GUYS AGAIN Alpha Plat Rain AND Platting the Ultra Rare Alphabet - Axiom Verge OK as most of you know I am platting the Alphabet in 1 day....and I had an A game already but it was a VN and I didn't want that game to in my Plat Rain and I didn't want it to be #250. I was trying to figure out what to play and I realized Axiom Verge was an Ultra Rare A game and has been sitting in my backlog forever as the Hacker and No Death trophies scared me off. Now most of you also know I recommend 3D Dot Game Heroes to absolutely everyone looking for a new game to play...well how fitting I am replacing a Zelda Clone with a Metroid Clone as my new game I am going to bug everyone with. Seriously this game is absolutely amazing. The visuals, the music, the control, the secrets, the bosses, the trophies...everything is FUN in this game and you must play it. Not going to say anymore, if you like a Metroidvania type game then check this out as you will not be disappointed.
Popular Post SnizelPS
Been putting this off for a pretty long time, what finally pushed me to get the MP trophies was the boost in new players that PS Plus gave to this game. It's also my unplanned 1,500 milestone. Basically realized in my few last MP trophies for this game that I was about to hit a milestone.
Popular Post Jiano_Vera
#98- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist This game really scratched that stealth itch I've been craving for awhile now. It's no Metal Gear but this game really deserves a playthrough, though this game has a typical save the world, stop the bad guy narrative, the gameplay makes up for the boring story (this is my first Splinter Cell game, so I don't have the same feelings of nostalgia that I do with other games). I liked how the game encouraged you to experiment with different playstyles. There is no wrong way to approach the mission or how to handle enemies, and that I can appreciate. Trophy-wise, the solo campaign is fairly easy, even on its hardest difficulty, but what may discourage people from getting the platinum are the online trophies. Most of the online trophies are easy however, but the weekly challenges may require a bit of boosting based on what it is. Some may require only two people (like 50 bomb kills), but some may require three (like getting 200 kill assists), I highly recommended to boost the challenges since the online is pretty much dead. For anyone thinking about getting the platinum for this game, know that the daily and weekly challenges were down for a whole year before getting fixed this past September, and it seems now (as of this writing) the daily challenges are down again (the latest achiever was sometime last week) so be careful and do your research! Overall, this was a solid game.. but not like Solid Snake solid, harhar. Completing the game twice as The Cursed One wasn't that much tougher than with a regular class though, so I guess it would be possible to get 100% with "only" five playthroughs instead of the seven I did. Still, I had my fun with the game, but I won't be returning to it (unless new DLC gets added...).

Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #402: Claire Difficulty: 3/10 Playtime: Two and a half to three hours Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Survival horror courtesy of a decent month of PlayStation Plus from way back in the day. Think a more frenetically paced and intense Lone Survivor... seriously, think about the gravity of that statement. Wanted to like it more, but it's a bit underwritten in a way I tend to dislike more often than not. Some nice story beats, but that's about it. Even playing it following a guide to the letter, it's a pretty harrowing play, so I can only imagine how much worse it must be going in blind. I hate the uncertainty of dealing with collectibles the game itself does not natively track, so that negatively impacted the proceedings. It's hardly anything amazing even without these pet peeves of mine, but it's mostly quick and painless, so I'll probably be stacking it on the Vita down the line.
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#285 - Yakuza Kiwami 2 YAKUZA KIWAMI 2 Obtained all trophies. While I still consider Yakuza 0 and Yakuza 5 to be the peak of this amazing series, I have to say, Kiwami 2 felt like a definite evolution of what was introduced in Yakuza 6. I also feel like it was much less of a "budget title" than the original Kiwami. I loved it! The Dragon Engine is starting to grow on me. I really enjoyed seeing the story of Yakuza 2 play out in this version. Ryuji Goda is definitely one of the best antagonists in the series. I had a lot of fun with some of the new additions such as the Gravure Idol minigame. Managing the hostess club was a lot of fun too - I loved it in Yakuza 0 as well. I'm still not really a fan of the clan creator minigame introduced in Yakuza 6, though, and they really went overboard with the number of bouncer missions you need to complete. That was such a slog to get through, mainly because you're forced to do each one 3 times. Only the last few missions against the Amons pose any kind of challenge, but I will admit that it felt great to beat those ones at least. Oh, and I won't spoil anything, but the Majima Saga was awesome because it tied up some loose ends from Yakuza 0. That got me in the feels. This was one of the lesser frustrating trophy lists in the series to complete. I wish it could have been a bit more of a challenge. but at least they make you get 100% completion in this one unlike in Yakuza 6. But yeah, that's another Yakuza plat earned. I'm going for all of the unique ones, boys! Yakuza 2's PS3 remaster is up next. I've listened to this song from the credits/final bouncer mission way too much. It's fuckin' rad! ???
Popular Post StraightVege
Elite Frame RunnerCollect all trophies Desperately Seeking DingoCollect all trophies # 210 & 211 - Zone of the Enders HD Collection When it comes to Kojima titles, everyone's infatuated with MGS, but not so much for me—no, ZoE was more my thing! It's extraordinary just how well these games hold up today. Yes, they occasionally remind you of their age, when the lock-on system frustrates, or the voice acting provokes a cringe response. The simple, yet elegant mecha combat remains incredibly satisfying and fun, though, besides being visually spectacular. However, I do wish they hadn't mapped so many functions to the right side of the controller, but it works well enough. The 2nd Runner really shines in this collection, as it's a substantial improvement over the original game in every way. There's a rescue mission where you defend friendly LEV mechs in a massive war, which still impresses me to this day. How sad that we'll never see a decent third entry, since Konami has their heads up their asses making slot machines now. I wish they'd sell the license to somebody competent, like Capcom. Popular Post Masamune
Legendary Hundred Knight!! You got all the trophies. Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Playtime: 74:30:05 (1 week, 6 days, 3 hours) Screenshot: (I kinda figured that loading screen wouldn't disappear quick enough for that. ?) Spoiler I was really impressed with this version, I wasn't expecting the Revival Edition to be all that different from the original, but the whole Tower of Illusion added quite a lot to it (the main game was the same as far as I could tell though). Not only did the tower section add probably around 20 more hours of gameplay to it, but now there's a synthesis system where you can strengthen your equipment (which was desperately needed). Thanks to the synthesis system, this game is actually a bit easier than the previous, the trophies are a lot better as well (instead of mostly story-based ones, there's some creativity to them). None of the trophies are really hard, getting to the 100th basement floor (which is misleading because each floor has 3-9 rooms, so it's more like 700 floors ?) in the Tower of Illusion on max difficulty does take around 8 or 9 hours, but that's easy as long as you prepare properly... With stats like that & 100% immunity to poison, you're basically invincible... actually you could cut that DEF in half & still nothing could hurt you, so that was a bit overkill. My favorite weapon I made also one-shot nearly everything I came across (ATK was 88K after Facet boost), it wasn't the strongest thing I made, but it dealt all 3 types of damage, & also had a 100% critical rate... so that was also a bit overkill, but it was fun. I haven't got Hundred Knight 2 yet (honestly I keep forgetting it's already out), but if it's even half as good as that, I need to get it pretty soon.

Popular Post Arcesius
Platinum #59 – Helldivers 100% Enjoyment: 7/10 100% Challenge: 4/10 "Prosperity, liberty and democracy - Our way of life. But it doesn't come free, it is every man, woman and child's duty to protect our home, our culture, and our families. Why not make the most important decision of your life. Make the safety of your family a personal responsibility. And prove that you have the strength and courage to be free. Join the HELLDIVERS! Travel the galaxy, visit the capitals, meet unusual people and represent the federation. Secure the resources we need to preserve our way of life and create a future for Super Earth. Spread managed democracy throughout the galaxy. Become more than you are. Become a Hero. Become, a Legend!" ~Broadcast narrator. 100% Enjoyment Helldivers is a top-down sci-fi shooter by the same developers that brought us Gauntlet and Magicka. And like the previous titles, this is a game meant to be played in coop, and is infinitely more fun that way. There is a very basic command-system to communicate with random players (which, if enabled, can simply join your ongoing session), but I played Helldivers mostly in 2-player coop with Mori. I seriously said "sorry" more often than I'd like to admit, as friendly fire is always on and the game can get quite hectic, so shooting your partner "by accident" (?) can happen quite easily Anyways, Helldivers doesn't try to be this deep, meaningful game. There is no story apart from the basic premise of spreading managed democracy, there are no cutscenes for a change of pace, no NPCs apart from the basic dudes on your ship… You start the game, choose a mission, decide on your gear, and off you go. Ten seconds later you are dropped into unknown territory and are already killing disgusting extraterrestrial bugs. And yeah, it's really over the top. Your character will be constantly shouting stuff like How 'bout a nice cup of Liber-Tea??? Freedom never sleeps! Say hello to democracy! How'd you like the taste of freedom? FREEEEEEDOOOOOOM (not unlike Mel Gibson in Braveheart ?) while killing huge hordes of enemies. It's hilarious how ridiculous it is, and I would still find myself laughing even after many many hours with this game. And there really isn't more to the main concept. There are three species that can be fought: Illuminati: Probably the easiest enemies to fight. At higher difficulties they start using attacks that can confuse your character, reversing your inputs on the controller. But taking a shield with you goes a long way, and since none of the Illuminati forces are armored, they can be easily taken out with normal weaponry. Bugs: These will try to overwhelm you with their numbers, but most bugs are rather weak and easy to dispatch. The bulkier enemies are rather slow, but can hardly be harmed with regular weapons. Simply take a missile launcher or grenades with you and you're golden! Cyborgs: Definitely my least favorite enemies. In the harder difficulties you'll often encounter tank-scouts and other heavily armored enemies, against which normal weaponry isn't effective at all. For these enemies you really need to rely on anti-tank equipment, and we would usually avoid fighting against cyborgs. Now, provided that all races are alive (the goal of winning a war is to eliminate each of the three species), you decide against which species to fight and can then choose a planet between level 1 and 15 (pre-DLC the maximum difficulty was level 12). Each such planet yields a reward, which initially is new equipment and later extra XP, and consists of 2-3 missions. Each such mission consists of a handful of objectives that need to be completed, for example: Escort survivors to a bunker without them getting killed on the way. Assasinate a special target (usually a stronger enemy) Repair some artillery by collecting three missiles and entering different button-combinations. etc... And enemies keep spawning, constantly, you can never kill everything, you're always outnumbered. So you need to keep moving from objective to objective, and you need to communicate with your team in order to do so effectively (as the players share the same screen). Once all objectives have been completed or failed, you'll be able to go to the extraction point and call the shuttle, which will then take 1.5 minutes to arrive… This of course alerts more enemies, often making this last phase of the mission a chaotic attempt at surviving until the shuttle arrives. It really is heartbreaking to fail the mission at this stage… It is definitely noticeable how much better one gets at this game. At the beginning we would struggle to do level 7 missions, and would either require help from random players, or simply do lower level planets. But I very distinctively remember one night where we were simply chatting and chatting and suddenly noticed that we were doing a level 12 planet just by the way, without paying too much attention… ? Close to getting the platinum we were then doing mostly level 13 planets, as they were still a bit challenging and fun, but not too stressful. Just the perfect balance. Definitely a game that I can recommend if you have a coop partner, and a game that is really well suited for short gaming sessions or for something in between. A mission from a level 12 planet might take around 10-15 minutes, so one such planet can be done in less than an hour. ? 100% Challenge Helldivers is more grindy than challenging… Props to the following three trophies: Reach rank 25: This requires ~800 XP and should take roughly 50-60 hours if you mostly play high level planets. Kill 100k enemies: They went a bit overboard with this trophy… You'll usually finish a mission with around 150 kills if you play against the bugs, and less against the other species… Getting to 100k takes freaking forever, but luckily kills can be farmed AFK ? Fully upgrade all (non-DLC) stratagems: This is a DLC trophy which requires using research points to upgrade your gear. Each level up gives a research point, as do 10 samples, which are a sort of collectable that can be picked up during missions (roughly 20 for a level 12 mission, 7 for a level 3). You need 164 research points total, or 1640 samples… But this wasn't that bad. It took me ~6h of farming after reaching rank 25 to get this done. Other than the grind, the Enemy Master (DLC) introduced a boss for each species that can pose some challenge if tackled alone or inexperienced, but they can all be cheesed pretty heavily once you know how they work. There are also trophies which rely on the community, which luckily is still pretty active. You need to at least win one war for the platinum, but during the past two months that I've been playing this game we won four wars total, so that one wasn't an issue at all… Most other miscellaneous trophies should come naturally, and can otherwise be set up pretty easily ? Popular Post Copanele
No. 68 : Jotun - Valhalla Edition Platinum Name : Worthy of Legend Hardest Trophy : Perfect Valhalla - Defeat Valhalla Mode without taking damage Difficulty : 8/10 - RNG dependent Personal Impression : 8,5/10 After many trials and tribulations I have managed to finally get this sweet platinum. Jotun is one of my favourite indie games and also one of the most difficult ones that I had to complete. The whole world is a marvel to look at. All the environments and the bosses that Thora(the female protagonist of the game) has to face are hand-drawn and the Viking setting paired with the Icelandic voice acting does give a great Valhalla impression. The main game itself is not too difficult. Each boss is more like a puzzle boss with different phases. Thora has her trusty axe to help her and also can find various artefacts(Apples of Idunn for a life increase) or various God Powers. Problems appear when tackling Valhalla Mode. Each boss is so unforgiving and half of them rely on RNG which can give serious headaches, especially when going for the two hardest trophy of the games : Shun the Gods - defeat all Jotuns without using powers , and Perfect Valhalla - defeat all Jotuns without taking damage. Special mentions go to Kaunan , one of the most annoying fire Jotun that can just combo your entire life, and Hagalaz, a lightning Jotun that can cover the area in sparks. Imagine how fun that is when going for No Damage trophy. All in all, a wonderful game, definetly a fun experience. I do believe I will need a break from tough games after this one though
Popular Post Dry
Platinum Trophy #20: Borderlands The Pre-Sequel (PS4 Handsome Collection) Borderland Defender Round 1.5 PSN Rarity: 0.3% PSNProfiles Rarity: 4.33% A lot of people don't particularly enjoy this installment of the Borderlands franchise (it's really not difficult for me to understand why) but I personally didn't mind it. Many highlight this story/narrative as the reason this game never stuck with fans (something Borderlands 2 excelled at), that and the locations on Elpis feel to large and aren't very special (I do agree that there are too many maps without fast travel stations). I'm eventually going to play Borderlands 3 (but only when it's cheaper and with all DLCs included) but I'm going to assume the story from TPS is better than the Calypso Twins from what I've heard about it. I get that this game was a collab between Gearbox and 2K long-defunct Australian game developers but as someone from Down Under I believe there are too many references in this game to my country. 39 times out of 40 no one in Australia shares the same accents as the various NPCs in this game. Does that mean Elpis doesn't exist? I felt like I had to say that lol Flat-Pandorans can get stuffed! The Claptastic Voyage DLC is the thing I liked about the game the most (that's pretty sad considering it is DLC). The glitch rarity weapons & the locations are the highlights of this add-on. Unfortunately if it weren't for the final boss (Eclipse & EOS) being the equivalent of a raid boss this DLC would've taken over Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon Keep from Borderlands 2 as my favourite DLC from the franchise. I don't know what the BL1 DLCs are like because I have yet to start that game but I don't imaging them (even General Knoxx) being any better. Overall I give this DLC 8 Moonstones out of 10. Not a great game in any way, but not a complete waste of time either. I can only see this game as the better looter-shooter of 2014 over Destiny.
Popular Post Sora9427
Platinum Trophy N.114 - Spyro The Dragon Gnasty's DemiseCollect all Spyro the Dragon Trophies Personal Vote: 8/10 It's been A LOT, really a lot since the last time i wrote here about a Platinum Trophy but here i am finally Well it's been a good while even since my last Platinum at all honestly Anyway here i am with the Platinum for Spyro: The Dragon, the first titile of the Trilogy! Spyro is a series, a game i grew up with, basically i played mostly Crash & spyro back when i was a Kid on Ps1 so i was really happy when they decided to make a Remake like they did with Crash, and like that one is a really good one :3 This is the First game, the one i like less because it's pretty linear and nothing too complex while the 2nd and 3rd one have more variety in the levels but it's normal after all they came out later! Still i really enjoied this one! I absolutely didn't remember like 90% of it O.o The Levels were a lot shorter to play now then when i was a Kid, which well i guess it's pretty normal I Liked how nw they worked on making every Dragon you released very detailed and particular in their looking that was great! Even everything else is made really really well, great work from "Toys for Bob"! I hoped for a Good work and so it is. As i said not much to say about the story in this fist one is pretty basic, simple and even kinda stupid in a good way The Trophies were pretty easy, nothing hard or complex to do, most of them you can get just playing and the Gems with Sparks helping too poiting to the missing ones are pretty easy to find even without any video! A lot of random trophies releated to each level, some are funny like the chicken one, some made me wonder why that, like the Rat Trophy, nothing better to choose for that world? I Think Even no death on that woudl have made more sense, but Well no big deal just a little consideration. To End this Review (Boy i don't write since a lot of time i think it's noticable on how not great this is XD) It was a great and fun experience i'm glad i could play once more Spyro 1 and enjoy it with a super easy Plat! But now the real games start, gonna start Spyro 2 soon, 2-3 are the ones i really really love so i'm pretty excited for that PS: Had to play the game in English since Amazon.Uk sent me the Spanish version which doesn't support Italian, no Big Deal, pretty good in English, probably better honestly than itwould have been in Italian for Dialogues. Here's the Platinum Torphy image, not that great sadly, last trophy i had left was to make Gnasty Gnorc do 5 Laps of the place, tried to get the Plat Image being Spyro Flaming him, but nope, too late for that: Spoiler
