Popular Post J_N__L
Platinum #1 - Overwatch: Origins Edition I'll be honest.. this is my second time getting the platinum for this amazing game. I have the plat/100% on my main account but this one is special because I got all the base game trophies without boosting! Overwatch has been my go-to game when I'm taking a break from trophy hunting and I could see myself getting heavily invested in ranked mode if trophies didn't exist. I never made it my intention to get the platinum when I played it on this account as it was just to play with friends, but as I earned more trophies over the last few years I thought why the hell not?! After boosting to 100% on my main, I opted to earn the platinum from just organic play. I sunk 600+ hours for the plat, time I could have spent getting platinums for other games on my main account, yet I don't regret it one bit. It's fitting that it's my first platinum and honestly probably my only one on this account (Until Overwatch 2 lmaoo). I think it's hilarious that I played this on and off for years and I unlock three of the arguably hardest trophies: Waste Not, Want Not; The Floor is Lava; and Rapid Discord within the span of two days! I guess my luck's been really good ? Hell, I'd get the platinum a third time because I love this game that much ? Popular Post Jens
That will most likely be my last post in this thread because every single platinum will feel a little less important after this one. Yakuza 6 is down and with that the whole main series. It would be kind of weird to just talk about Yakuza 6 on its own when the whole series is so much more. So I'll just say that: Yakuza 6 is kind of the buffet of Yakuza games. You can eat what you want and how much you want, but it's completely up to you. The completion requirements are so much lower compared to the other games, it's pretty simple. How much of an extra effort you want to do is completely your call. It felt kind of anticlimactic as a "completion package" because of that, but it's still a nice change of pace for once. The story has some odd twists and yes, cliches are plenty, but it was still as rock solid as always. I don't see anyone playing this one first (and that would be a bad idea I think), so my opinion on it is kind of not all that important to be honest If you stuck around for so long this one definitely won't be a disappointment for you. Maybe not your absolute favorite among all of them (probably on my... third place battling for it with Yakuza 1), but still absolutely entertaining. I only disliked a few things. The combat with this engine feels a little bit delayed, it's definitely less visceral than the older games. You can really tell the combat of Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza 6 and Judgment apart from the rest of series. Not terrible by any means, but still a little bit less satisfying. And they kind of picked most of the minigames I disliked and made a little bundle of my "worst of" in terms of that, but you can easily ignore them, so it's not really a burden. It's still a miracle to me how a series with 7 humongous and pretty similar games (8 if we include Judgment) could keep my attention the whole way through. But it did... it did with flying colors. The Completion Lists were always extremely motivating, no matter what they demanded. The minigames were always fun to tackle, no matter how much effort they required. The stories turned a little cliche over time, but they still absolutely got the job done and were a big help in keeping at it (and made my girlfriend cry on numerous occasions, especially this very one). The side missions kept being bizarre and entertaining, the characters were always as likable as ever, it's just such a complete package top to bottom. Everything just clicks, it's like a very well-oiled machine. That mix of a serious crime thriller - story, absolutely bonkers sidequests and the grand completion package... the perfect trifecta right there. Just check a few profiles on this site. If you see one game completed you usually see those people going for the other ones as well, can't be a coincidence right? It's a treat and looking back on it I would easily take on Yakuza 7 - 12, no questions asked. And that's it. Very unlikely that another series will take the throne away from this one. That's just the perfect mix that resonated 100% with us. Yakuza 7 will happen, 99% sure about that, but this one is a chapter closed for sure. There's easily 10x as much to say about it all, but words won't do it justice. That's something you just have to try out for yourself.

Popular Post Phoenix_argentea
A couple of new platinum trophies, and a new milestone! Nos. 183 & 184 Persona 4: Dancing all Night Dancing all Night My second Persona dancing game. Fun, but probably I'm really bad with these games, because I find the Hard difficulty really hard, and I could complete only half of the "free dance" tracks with that difficulty. But I find normal too easy... Anyway, nothing to add: the story was really interesting, and I also needed 40 trophies for my next milestone. Too bad the platinum screenshot is this purple screen... Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! Beak performance I decided to put this one as 8000th trophy milestone! I'm a huge fan of the Mystery Dungeon games, but I've played only the Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon on 3DS (which I think is the best among these games, together with its ost. Too bad there isn't an official release...?), together with Void:terrarium (excellent gameplay, but the story is too short and there are very few dungeons). The story is nice, but the gameplay is really fun, since there are also dungeons with "restrictions", which add more challenegs (even if a couple of them could be boring due to RNG). And there's also a "Job system", so you can change the job (and abilities) of your Chocobo! My favourite is the Knight (because he can slow down enemies and push them afar), together with the "bloody" Dark Knight, but the Thief class is really powerful (he can blind and poison enemies from the distance, together with an "Haste ability" which gives you two turns!). You can explore the dungeons together with an ally (which can be a human of the Town, or one of the many FF monsters, like a Cactuar! But seriously, the Cactuars in these games are crazy! They should slow down and stop running around like crazy monster!). The soundtrack has musis taken form the different Final Fantasy games, so this was a huge surprise. Too bad that the "official" release is incomplete, without the best tracks, like these two: The Thunder Plains from FF X This one is from FF V. And it's my favourite! Slow and melancholic, like the track from the final dungeon in PSMD, "Tree of Life - Trunks", while the previous track, "Tree of Life - Roots" is a march full of hope towards the ending! Actually I hated only two dungeons: the Mystery Dungeon (50 floors where you start again from Lv 1, and you need to pray RNG in order to find explosive drinks and kills that stupid Omega, which can destroy you in one turn!) and the Infinite Dungeon (500 floors. I thought that Arceus Tower was long, but this one was even worse. Extremely long and full of Monsters dens: I think I found 6 or 7 of them in a row...). There are also collectibles (which are the three different equipments: collars, talons, saddles), but unfortunately the game doesn't track them, so you need to write them down and cross them off. But, in order to be registered, you need to appraise, equip or take it out of the dungeon (long story short: the name of the item is no more purple and the item description isn't "?????????"). And a good strategy is learning the fuse system, since you can transfer the item properties from one equipment to another (if the item has enough slots), especially the one from the Gold items. Move this one ASAP and you equipment won't be downgraded anymore by the seawater! I didn't understand this one, because I completely ignored the forge, and I decided to use it only when I reached the end of the game (The Dark Dungeon), but it could have helped me for the previous battles! Especially the "boss rush" in the Ancient Ruins And don't be scared by the time required for the platinum (+120 h), because I cleared it with half the time required! If you're a fan of the "Mystery Dungeon" games, then take it with the sales on PS Store! And again, not a great platinum screenshot. I left the "Dungeon master" trophy because I thought it was the best choice for the platinum screenshot... Anyway, this is my platinum screenshot! Sorry for the long post, but I put the music in spoiler tags and it didn't open, so I had to put them out. I'm the annoying guy who loves and always talks about the music of games, so I wanted to share them. Nothing more! I hope you enjoy these tracks Edited August 30, 2020 by Phoenix_argentea Spoiler tags not working. =(

Started playing it last August and didn't use a guide. Got through the majority of the game and then wandered off to another game. So, came back this year, looked at all the flowcharts, and figured with my talent I could easily make the right decisions and collect the rest of the trophiesl WRONG! Ended up started over again WITH A GUIDE and actually finished the game. At least, it was an enjoyable game!
Popular Post DamagingRob
#479- Alchemic Jousts Perfection Get all the Trophies! Alchemic Jousts was an interesting one. You control elements like fire, water, earth, etc. and send them across the screen to attack your opponent's base. And the A.I. will try to counter with their own, each having strengths and weaknesses to different elements. It's not that hard, either, thanks to the Rest Mode trick. Though it did take me a little while to find a good strategy for the elite attacks. Once I did, though, it was easy enough to rattle off the ten wins. There are some trophy glitches, that can really set you back. So you definitely need to back your save up often, or risk replaying the entire campaign. And that's about it. Not a bad game, and kinda surprising so few have finished it. #480- Code Realize: Wintertide Miracles Wintertide Miracles Obtain all trophies I got nothing. Honestly, not even sure why I bought it. The first Code: Realize didn't do a whole lot for me, and I preferred Amnesia (unpopular opinion, but whatever ). It's off the backlog, at least. If I'm ever really bored and it's closer to the holiday season, maybe I'll give it a proper read. #481- Pox Nora One With Nora Obtain All Trophies This game is free to play, and a really easy Plat. But a technical mess on the PS4, and super dull.. Encountered numerous minor issues while boosting it, and it crashed on me seven times. :/ Some of them were humorous, though, and I had good company through it all. You do start to lose points for losses eventually, so most self boost. And what it is, is a card game. One where you summon monsters on to the field, and then move them around a small map. With your end goal being to destroy your opponent's tower. #482- Override: Mech City Brawl Pierced The Heavens Collect all trophies This was super easy and short. Not sure why it's Ultra Rare.. Turbo versus matches to unlock stuff, run through Arcade mode 1.5 times, and then boost the online. Quick, easy, and fairly painless. Game isn't anything special, but who doesn't want to fight with giant robots? I hear chicks dig them. #483- LittleBigPlanet 3 100% Complete Earn all LittleBigPlanet™3 trophies to unlock this platinum trophy My second LBP game, but the first one I platinumed. Didn't think it was too bad, at first. Pretty fun, not overly difficult, and some stellar music. But that eventually changed... For starters, you have to play the entire game in co-op. Well, technically just the final checkpoints of each level. But it's still rather annoying, having to log in a second controller so many times. And it made the final level such a bitch to beat the first time. But I guess it helped make acing it easier, since I'd had so much practice just trying to beat it before. And speaking of acing, I fricking hate it. Not dying in all those levels is such a pain in the ass. Sometimes, dying wasn't even my fault. The dumb bird would glitch into an object here and there, and I'd be as good as dead. It straight up looked like I just fell through the floor once as Batsack (Batman + Sackboy ), too. At least none of the trophies glitched.. The second to last level was easily the worst for me, taking an hour to ace. I really thought it would be the final level that would give me the most trouble, but even that one took less time and attempts. And then there were the co-op levels... Two of these were a nightmare to pull off by myself, and I highly advise against doing so. For the 4 player one, I had to juggle 3 controllers and a Vita, and had to beat the clock. There was a lot of rage with this, and the dumb 2 player level that would have been so much easier with a partner. So yeah, decent game, but with a humongous difficulty spike in the finale. And quite a big pain to Plat, especially solo.. ~~~~~ And lastly, I want to give shout outs to my boosting partners for Alchemic Jousts, Pox Nora, and Override. The man, the myth, the legend, @zajac9999, who was present for every one of their Platinum poppings. And @Brawler, for boosting a good chunk of Pox Nora with me. Also, @Wdjat Prinny Doods, for recommending Override. He's such a nice guy. Platinum images: Spoiler
Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Alpha Plat Rain - Letter J Just Ignore Them - Vita Well @Kittet3 recommended this in the Hidden Gem sale and I needed a J game for the Alpha Plat rain so I decided to check it out. I was expecting a Five Nights at Freddy's rip off (based on the title) but instead got a 8-bit point and click game with a cool little story. Now this game isn't perfect...I mean due to its length it really didn't get into the creation of the monsters so it left a lot of loose ends...but it was a good little story for what it was and I can't complain too much (especially for the price). I would actually like a little longer of a game to explore the world a little more but in my opinion leaving the gamer wanting more is better than over staying your welcome. So check this game out if you want, it costs a couple of bucks and it is definitely worth checking out (although I would still recommend Lone Survivor over it).

Popular Post SHAZAM_SAVAGE
#14 - inFamous First Light "Noble Achievement" So after getting the platinums for TLOU2 and Ghost of Tsushima, I wanted to see what game I could play to pass a little bit of time before the release of The Avengers game. I saw that I had played this game for all but 5 minutes over 5 years ago, when I didn't care for trophies. I think I got this game for free back in the day in the PS Store. I never played any inFamous games before this (regrettably!), but after having so much fun with GOT I was like "alright Sucker Punch!" I will tell you, I was very impressed with the graphics for a game as old as this one. Looked very clear, colors popped, and stayed consistent. The gameplay was fun, and it wasn't too grindy. At first when I tried to do the arenas I was like "there is no way this game is only a 4/10 platinum difficulty" but after upgrading and getting the hang of the combat, it really wasn't difficult at all. All in all, I am glad I came back to finish this game and get the platinum after all of these years. Honestly I will try and see if I could find time to play inFamous Second Son! Hopefully I will have a little bit of time after Avengers and before the PS5 drops! Edited August 31, 2020 by SHAZAM_SAVAGE
Popular Post Undead Wolf
#324 - Hitman 2: Silent Assassin Perfect Assassin Unlock all trophies What a classic. The first thing that struck me about this game was the incredible main menu theme. Really sets the tone for what's to come. Given it a listen: Second thing that jumped out at me? Definitely Agent 47's sexy voice. ? But anyways, those things are great and all, but what really makes this game special is the gameplay. There were a lot of incredible scenarios in this one, and it's an absolute blast trying to figure out how to do it as stealthily as possible. Using a disguise to get somewhere you shouldn't be never got old, and it was oh so satisfying to pull off a hit, then get out of there before anyone else knew what was going on. Great game. I look forward to seeing what else this series has to offer since I've only really played Absolution before. Popular Post Viper
#200 WWE 2K20 All Trophies Earned 1st Plat - Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 25th Plat - WWE 2K14 50th Plat - WWE 2K15 75th Plat - WWE 2K16 100th Plat - WWE Legends of WrestleMania 200th Plat - WWE 2K20 This wasn't originally planned as a milestone Platinum when I got it. Hell I wasn't even sure I was going to play it much because of how much of a notorious mess this game is. I only bought it because it's been like a tradition of mine to buy these games every year since WWF WarZone in 1998. But realizing that it's not at all as time consuming as the last 4 games in the series, I figured...what the hell? The game really is a mess...I mean, it's been patched to a playable state at this point...but it still far from being "fixed". Some people think I'm crazy because I actually think this game had the best career mode yet...I didn't even finish the career modes for 2K18 or 2K19, but this one...while SUPER cringe...kept me entertained, and actually got some laughs out of me. The fact that most people just went back to playing 2K19...means it was easy to connect with a boosting partner in Road to Glory mode, so it made boosting that actually possible, which also lead to me deciding to Plat this. Never thought I'd see 200 Platinums though, considering I get them so much slower than most people. But it's a good feeling. Here's to 300...maybe we can make that another WWE game too. Although, my fandom in wrestling has shifted more to AEW these days...so maybe their game will be out by then.

Earn all available trophies for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 Campaign Remastered. Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I was happy to comeback to this campaing cause is one of my favorites in the series. The new graphics and renders apply really good to the game and honestly is a shame the multiplayer wasn´t added to the game cause the maps and guns in this one in my opinion are the best in the entire franchise with Black Ops 1. I think the trophy list is pretty easy and straight foward as was in the original game just this time is even more easier due to the not inclusion of the "Spec Ops" in the game what is a shame cause some of them where pretty fun and challenging to go for, also with the veteran glitch found the plat is pretty much a gift for everyone there´s not difficult at all, I gain mine fairly in the PS3 version so I´m proud I did it the hard way the first time jaja but gotta admit I used the glitch in the penultimate mission cause that one is really frustrating and I wans´t in the mood. Well with this one is another one from the COD collection for me and I´m proud of that cause I like the franchise but never buy it since ghost cause I now is almost all the time the same lol.
