Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum #243 Fun: 8/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Zone of the Enders the 2nd Runner on PS4 is an updated rerelease and it looks pretty damn good and runs smooth as well. The trophies are not difficult to obtain and is easy on a NG+ with the Naked Jehuty variant that basically makes you a god with unlimited energy to use subweapons to make two specific trophies easier where you have to earn a high enough rank. You also have to find all the ex missions scattered throughout the game which can easily be found using a guide. Most difficult trophy would be the Zoradius mini game but with some skill it can be conquered.
Popular Post Bumperklever
#121 Beat Saber (PSVR) Platinum Date Achieved: 30 May 2020Rarity: Ultra Rare (4-5%)Enjoyment: 10/10 In the past weeks guilty pleasure and after 3 weeks I can add this beautiful platinum in my collection. I always knew beat saber, but I never bought it with the thought that I would not enjoy it as much. But with 'the virus' and the extinction of the sport I play and I wanted to give it shot due to the lack exercise because of that. And I enjoyed it more then I thought I would. Next to just slicing blocks, as you play it more and more you will recognize patterns and if you do, you will be slicing like a god. My biggest achievement in this game is SS' ing with a full combo the song one hope on expert. Some other songs that I really liked playing (and you should too): Till it's over (monstercat), feeling stronger (monstercat); Burning sands (pack 3); But I honestly do say that if you solely go for exercise, then you can better check out some other games. In my experience, full swings became less full and more fast, which is needed due to the speed of the notes on expert level. Moving your hand back and playing with palm twisting movement became more apparent due to this as well. And therefore movement became less even though the speed was getting faster, but that is just my 2 cents. But as a game this was an amazing experience for me. I will certainly play more of this and upping my score. Now let's try some boxVR

Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#256 +100% DLC - Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Third stack done, one more to go , but that will have to wait for a while. It was pretty fun to go back to Hong Kong with Wei Shen even after playing it for the 3rd time now, combat is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game along with gun fights, especially in slow-mo So this, play-through just had a thought that it would've been awesome if they did release a prequel of this game, but instead set in States and how the journey was for Wei there.
Popular Post Starrk_01
Plat #172: Resident Evil 5 (PS3) December 21st, 2012...one of the many "ends" of the world. This was the end of the Mayan calendar. Where were you when this happened? Cowering in fear for your life? Waiting for the end? Continuing with life as if nothing was happening? What was I doing? Apparently I was getting one of the last trophies from Resident Evil 5 that I thought I was going to get. I had absolutely no plans of playing Professional mode; however through some motivation almost 7.5 years later I have went back to play Professional mode and get this platinum. Thanks to @Beyondthegrave07 for motivating me (by getting the platinum first) and @ddracarys for carrying me through the playthrough.

Popular Post EcoShifter
Trophy Triumphant Acquired all trophies. Decent trophy image, but the platinum name should be something related to skill level or Dragon Ball Z. An overdue platinum I should have gotten a long time ago, with the delay caused by the infamous, grind-heavy acquisition of the $20,000,000 trophy. I actually didn't resort to any boosting for the 530,000 BP trophy or exploits for the currency related trophies, but the occasional currency offerings from the publishers that were given to players helped greatly. It is, however, a damn shame I ended up getting the following Dragon Ball game's—Dragon Ball Z: Kararot—platinum before the two year older DBFZ. The game is a little bit overrated and not the "best Dragon Ball Z game ever made", which was an especially ridiculous claim immediately after launch in 2018, simply because there's more to Dragon Ball than just fighting and fighting mechanics. But it's still a fantastic game, especially after all its significant improvements & additions post release and since Kefla's in there. If I were a competitive fighting game enthusiast, I know I would love this game. People looking for an epic adventure and/or RPG focused gameplay won't find that here—the Xenoverse series and Kararot covers those areas—but for those looking for a traditional or competitive Dragon Ball fighting game, DBFZ explicitly answers that wish/call, though it's team-focused like Marvel vs Capcom 3. Would have said more, but there's been too large of a gap in time between the first trophy and platinum earned for me to remember most additional things I would have once said. Popular Post sephiroth4424
#200 Final Fantasy VII Remake Master of Fate Enjoyment: ∞ Difficulty: 3/10 This remake surpassed my expectations in every way. Seeing the characters from my favorite game having conversations, curse when they had to, looking so alive because of the graphics, it was just amazing. The gameplay, the OST all perfect. I loved they kept the little details from the original as well. And i also enjoyed the new element with the Whispers of Fate, it leaves hope you can change things. Like the end credits said, the unknown journey will continue. Favorite chapter was the 9th. That alone should make this Game of the Year!! Impatiently waiting for the next part.... Popular Post greenzsaber
#280 - Sword Art Online - Hollow Fragment By far the longest RPG and game I've done this year. This is a milder version of Star Ocean 4's trophy list. It's got battle trophies, aka Implements, bosses with 5 million+ HP pools that require a massive amount of prepping and setup to take down quickly, missable events that can lock you out of endings, Good thing the game has a lot of content to keep things interesting. Might still be playing this for a bit to setup a file to transfer over to PS4 later.
Popular Post Mayellie
#24 - Lara Croft GO Initially, I wasn't going to post about this because I didn't feel it was something to be too proud of since it's a pretty short game, so the trophies didn't take long to do, but I figured that not every game I platinum needs to have taken 50+ hours of my life for me to be happy about. I think that as long as it makes me happy, that's what matters! Right, so Lara Croft GO is a simple turn-based puzzle and adventure game. Lara makes her way through caves, mazes, and jungles throughout her exploration. The game's controls are quite straightforward, and your task is to get through each level while avoiding enemies, which range from giant tarantulas and snakes to lizards, or to use them to your advantage by getting them to step on platforms to get from point A to point B. The puzzles ended up being more puzzling (see what I did there?) than I thought, but they were well-designed and made me use my brain, rather than allowing me to mindlessly play, which I liked. As for trophies, you'll get most of them just by playing the game normally. You do have a bunch of collectibles in each chapter, and some of them are super tricky to find yourself, as they can be hidden behind branches or ledges. You will almost definitely need a guide, but there's a chapter select option from the main menu if you want to pick up anything you've missed without replaying the whole game. I've had this in my library for some time, but I wanted to keep it for when I don't want to start a new big game because of upcoming sales or releases I'm interested in. Basically, a time-killer. I'd recommend this if you like puzzle games, or if you need a quick play to refresh before starting any big game. - Difficulty: 0/10 - Enjoyment: 7/10 Edited May 30, 2020 by Mayellie

Popular Post Janire1911
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End #179 This is my longest platinum to date, I got most of the trophies back in early 2018 and a few days ago I decided to return to the game to finish it. Luckily I have physical version of the game so I could downgrade to version 1.00 to be able to use the glitch for the speed run trophy to finish the game in under 6 hours, I don't think I would've bothered doing it legit as I really don't like speed run trophies. Also a few of the trials for the Trials by Fire trophy were a bit annoying but nothing too difficult. Edited May 31, 2020 by Janire1911
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #510: Please Don't Touch Anything Difficulty: 2/10 Playtime: 1 hour, 20 minutes Enjoyment: 7/10 Video game and Coronavirus safety guideline all in one! But really, they missed a trick by not calling it by what it really is; a Dee Dee Simulator! Whoa, remember when she had massively thick eyebrows for some reason? Heavy, Doc. Ahem! Anyways, yep, this is one of those "do random stuff to create random outcomes" with a bunch of buttons and doohickeys and gewgaws to mess around with. Usually these kinds of games can be a bit too obtuse with nudging you in the right direction, but it does offer some slightly cryptic in-game hints for those who wanna take the high road, i.e. not me! Some of them are even quite intuitive. A game like this lives and dies by its ability to provide some pleasantly overstated comedy and I'd say it does alright. Pop cultural references are a dime a dozen, with the '80s being a favoured topic. Some are particularly cleverly implemented, such as the one that directly copies the events of WarGames... the '80s movie, not the cage-based wrestling stipulation. Repetitive button combinations can become a bit of a chore; it's just as well it's as short as it is. Some of the puzzles also requires precision and dexterity that does not gel with the control set-up. Punching numbers into a button-based telephone feels as slow as a rotary phone in this one. Overall, it's a harmless bit of fluff that will provide an hour or two of entertainment, especially with its clever trophy list. Little you're liable to remember down the line, but it does what it says on the tin and sometimes that's a victory in and of itself.
Popular Post Sergen
Street Fighter X Tekken: Platinum #145 Difficulty: 6/10 Time Taken: 50-60 hours Yet another fighting game to add to my collection and it is a crossover game with the Street Fighter and Tekken franchises made to play as a 2D fighter. The game was more frustrating that I expected it to be, mission mode is incredibly cheap and the only somewhat difficult thing in the entire game. It took me a few hours to complete mission 19 which puts you up against Ogre and Akuma back to back and gives them maximum meter, Ogre became simple to deal with and I would normally just beat him with Balrog's Super Art because it would charge up and armor through his moves when he came close to me, then hit him for a decent amount of damage. Akuma in mission 19 however was incredibly frustrating, I used Zangief against him and got incredibly good RNG when I fought him, as I was able to spam him with the lariat while keeping him in a corner, but in this mission he also tends to spam his super move and he gets insanely fast health regeneration when you get his health down to about 25%. You need to keep Akuma at bay when his health is regenerating because it stops eventually, but to add insult to injury you can't win by time out so if the 99 seconds are up against him then you fail the mission. Another difficult mission to deal with was mission 20 because it makes you fight 19 opponents in a row and you only restore about 20% of your health between fights, I used Zangief and Hugo for this mission and normally grabbed opponents with one of their special throws which would do a lot of damage, but some opponents became ruthless and wouldn't leave me any opportunity to grab them. Aside from mission mode, the game is an absurd grind requiring you to do most special moves over 300 times, but luckily there was a method I found that allows you to turbo most of the grind trophies, but it was somewhat boring observing this grind and not doing too many of some specific moves. Unfortunately none of the grind based trophy counters go up in mission mode, which is a shame because I probably performed hundreds of special moves during that mode so it would have helped if they counted... Aside from the grindy move based trophies, the online is simple to self boost and I was able to AFK grind 500 matches played with 2 turbo controllers while using Ken and assigning X to the heavy kick. I'm glad this is over and eventually I'll probably try out the vita version, but it's no rush at the moment and I need a break from this game after the grind I endured. At least on vita they lowered the requirements for the grind based trophies. You don't even have to do half of the trials on this game, so I can't give an opinion as to how they would compare to Super Street Fighter IV when it comes to difficulty as I barely bothered to do more than 10 trials for most characters and their first 10 trials were often very simple to do. Arcade mode only requires 5 runs but I did 7 due to not wanting to bother with rival fights while doing the hardest difficulty runs, either way it was a lot better than dealing with the other SF games in terms of arcade mode grinding. Popular Post ViciousAly
#57 Beyond: Two Souls (PS4) BEYOND: TWO SOULS™ MASTERCollected all trophies! Rarity at the time of posting: 7.63% (VERY RARE) Another one from the backlog completed. I have always loved Quantic Dreams' games ever since I played Heavy Rain and how well the story for it was not to mention the character/face/facial animation detail they achieved back on the PS3. I never got around to play Beyond: Two Souls on the PS3 as, iirc, it was released the same year PS4 was launched. Got this back when it was first released on the PS4, completed the story but never got around to get the platinum as the long and tedious playthrough without any skippable cutscenes made it less compelling to go for the platinum. But, with the current lockdown situation and all, finally pushed myself and got it done from the backlog. Forgot to post here once I got it lol. Difficulty: 2/10. Enjoyment: 5/10 (unskippable cutscenes made the experience sour for platinum) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #58 Rogue Galaxy A True Star KingUnlock all trophies. Rarity at the time of posting: 5.53% (VERY RARE) I first played Rogue Galaxy way back in 2007-2008 on the PS2 and I remember that I ran into a glitch or something that always froze the game once you try to go through a certain gate, it was in the Ruins of Rosa Desert. After that I never got around to get another copy and just moved on with life and studies. So once this game was made available on the PS4, I immediately jumped in and bought the game (when it first went on a sale), but alas, even though I got it, I never even got around to finishing the first chapter at all, guess had no motivation or so. But this time around, finally pushed myself to pick it up again and complete it all the way to get the platinum. The Level 99 grind was completely unnecessary and I don't know what purpose the devs wanted it to serve by having us level up to 99, and moreover all that for a bronze trophy!? Damn... The grind made me lose motivation most of the time, but I actually learned to do the grind with my eyes closed (literally only working by hearing the visual clues) and mostly using one hand to use the phone and just one hand to grind it, kind of teensy bit made it bearable. Other than that Insectron Stadium was a chore as well. I enjoyed the factory though. My final playtime for my last save was: 65hrs and 56secs exact! The moment of achieving the plat (thought it was fitting lol): Spoiler Difficulty: 5/10. Enjoyment: 7/10 (the level 99 grind trophy was completely unnecessary)
Popular Post Angel
Persona 5 Royal Platinum #150 This was such an amazing and wonderful journey, I can't believe I have been missing out on so much! This was my first experience playing a Persona game and I can see why the series is praised so much now. It's been so long since I had a game keeping me up late at nights, forgetful of time and what's going on in the real world. I immersed myself so much in this world, it's colorful cast of characters, plot twisting story and gameplay that has you balancing daily school life and stealing hearts as phantom thieves. There is so much that made me fall in love with this game that has probably been said so many times, but the things that made my heart all warm was the way the game was on point with it's tarot knowledge and Persona's bios as I enjoying studying both in real life. (Ever feeling lost on something and need a little push in guidance, I'm happy to give you a tarot reading in person!) I have already been highly recommended to play the other Persona games like 3 and 4 as their stories are even more deep and I do hope to get the chance to play them too! Wishing the best on your next platinum, hoping you are well and thank you for your time!

Popular Post Don_carlito94
#60 - Doom Eternal Heavy Metal Earn all Trophies Enjoyment = 9/10 Difficulty = 4/10 A highly anticipated game for me and it didn't dissapoint. The gameplay and mechanics improved from 2016 and the singleplayer provided alot of fun. The limited ammo can be frustating for some and I can't deny that it was the case in the beginning, but it didn't bother me too much later on after I adapted to the game. The multiplayer although not perfect was still fun overall and gave me a good player experience through out my 60+ online matches. I miss some of the old online modes from 2016s which I kraved for in Eternal like TDM and DM. In terms of the difficulty of the plat, well it's generally not too difficult unless you make it harder for yourself like upping the SP difficulty mode and earning the online trophies without boosting. For me I didn't play the SP on the harder difficulties and stuck with normal difficulty (can't remember the exact title) which is a difficulty above the easiest. Only the last two bosses gave me somewhat of a minor pushback. I didn't boost any of the online trophies as I genuinely wanted to experience the online aspect of the game aswell and the trophies didn't seem to be hard to obtain without boosting. The better players definitely gave me some trouble in the beginning starting my journey as the slayer, but after a while I started learn patterns and weapons choices, the game suddently turned in my favor and it didn't seem so impossible to win as slayer like in the beginning. Playing as the demon I stuck with Marauder for the most. It takes longer to earn the online trophies without boosting but I had a great time, so I can't complain.
