Popular Post FluffyAssassin64
#99 - Owlboy "The Owlboy" Get all the game trophies Owlboy was another beautiful Indie game that was an absolute pleasure to play. Though short, many moments from this game will stick with me for a long time. Is it perfect? No, but this game made me feel for the characters and world in a way few other games can... and for that, I have nothing but praise for Owlboy. The controls / combat is quite straightforward, with a bit of variety added later as you get more companions added to your team. Similarly, exploration of the environments was relatively simple; use an ability to break through an area you couldn't before, move through a 'hidden wall', etc. Overall, nothing particularly new or noteworthy, but flying around the world never got old. I did enjoy the variety of environments, and how the boss fights all played out quite differently (though they were all relatively straightforward). The final boss in particular was quite well-done. Side missions were also fun (albeit simple) for the most part; with the exception of a certain cannon minigame that was more frustrating that anything else... All of that said, it's the characters and the world that truly make this game shine. Though the main character can't speak, it's the simple animations that show how he's feeling that really drive home how awfully he's treated throughout the game (the way he cowers when abused is particularly moving). Your companions, and the other characters you meet (Buccanery and her penguin friends in particular) are all well-written, and the dialogue does a great job of bringing the characters to life. Story-wise, I was regularly shocked by the twists and turns that happened throughout Owlboy. This was evident in the 'bombastic' set piece moments, as well as in the small, heartfelt ones. One particular moment with your mentor - Asio - nearly brought me to tears. The overall story remains a mystery throughout, and even at the end, much is still left open to interpretation. However, piecing together all the 'journals' and holograms (from a final hidden area) does give a lot more information about what's going on. Maybe not everyone will like the overall story as much as me, but I reckon it's great Graphics-wise, this game is absolutely gorgeous. The change in ambience from day to night does an amazing job of making you feel like part of the world, and the fact that the music changes with it too is a bonus. Character and enemy design is also well-done; particularly the main characters and bosses. Again, it's the little details in animations that make these characters come to life. There are a few rough edges here and there, but overall I loved the design. Music was an absolute masterclass; with a mix of 'old style' and more 'modern-sounding' tunes, I was regularly blown away but the emotion that resonated through it. Rarely is there a game that makes me wait at the menu screen (or in different areas) purely to listen to the music (Child of Light is another that made me feel a similar way)! Trophy-wise, you'll have no trouble at all. Nothing is missable (aside from, perhaps, one trophy right at the beginning of the game that will take mere minutes on another save slot), so my advice is to steer clear of spoilers and enjoy the experience! I had an absolute blast with this game. Again, it's not perfect, but this game is more than the sum of its parts; rare is the Indie title (or game in general) that makes me feel like Owlboy did. Absolutely worth a play. Game Rating: 9/10 Plat Difficulty: 2/10 (all easy apart from that stupid cannon minigame :P)

Kishnabe
Platinum #216: The Long Reach (PSV) Apart from loading between chapter and deaths, it ran well. After it loaded, moving between area is instant. Easy 2 hour platinum. No Cross Buy or Cross Save. Platinum #217-8: Sigi: A Fart for Melusina (PSV/PS4) 30-60 Minute Platinum I made sure to back my save every 2 levels, unsure if your best effort for a level is captured for the 30 Min 100% speed-run. Finished in 22 min on the Vita, and 24 min on the PS4. Very doable. 4 Stacks, should show up on Sept 4th 2018. Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
#70 South Park: The Fractured But Whole Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 9.5/10 RECOMMEND?: You may crap your pants! This game was actually quite refreshing. I started playing it from a KYC event and decided to stick with it afterwards. I was really disappointed with the first game because it was slow and buggy on the PS3 and was very difficult to play and time your attacks with the lag. his game fixed all of that and made the game a grid rather than a back and forth fight. I think the battle system was better in the second one because the first one was too easy IMO once you got certain items. In the first game, I would just use the bouncing ball with maximum bleeding effect attached and would bleed everyone to death from the start of the battle and then burn everyone as well with my second attack. Normally, enemies would die within 3 turns. In this game through, the enemies have a large amount of health and the bleeding effect could not be compounded like in the first game so the battles were more strategic and challenging with I really liked. Though, the Medieval theme was better than the super hero, the jokes were still solid. The whole backstory was just great, and the ending is just so bizarre you almost have to laugh to believe it. The final boss was a let-down (too easy IMO), but the challenge is still there for the taking. Morgan Freeman was no joke! Overall, it's a great game for some good strategy and some good laughs. If you are on the fence about it, give it a try. If you don't like it, at least it's an easy platinum and can be done in 25 hours.
Popular Post Janire1911
Grim Fandango Remastered: Number Nine Ticket (#33) Having to use tank controls for the entire game was a bit annoying, but otherwise this turned out to be a great game. Too bad I never got to play the original back in the day. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice: Done (#34) An absolutely beautiful game. Many people seem to complain that it's too short but it's exactly as long as it needs to be to tell the story, any longer and it probably would just feel like it's dragging on. Popular Post Sergen
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite: Platinum #121 Difficulty: 2/10 Time Taken: 16 hours This is my final Marvel vs. Capcom platinum, now I have them all . This game was the easiest of them all and took the least amount of time, but it was also the most boring one. The style of this game is garbage, I preferred the way the other games look. I only need to 100% Marvel vs. Capcom 2 to have 100% in the whole series, so I will start and finish it soon. The leniency this game gives for mission mode is the most fair of them all and that's what makes it the easiest game in the series in my opinion, you only need to do 100 overall missions out of a total of 300 and you only need to complete every mission with 5 of the characters, there are enough characters for 5 of them to be easy. The characters I did all the missions for are Haggar, Frank West, Iron Man, Ultron and Ghost Rider, they don't have any annoying inputs for their missions, except Frank's 10th mission but otherwise everyone else was a big joke. Every arcade mode run on this game can be done on Very Easy difficulty and I never lost any match because this game has auto-combos where you can spam square and obliterate your AI opponents. This game is the first of the series to feature a cinematic story mode, but I skipped every cutscene, luckily in this mode the auto combos help out a lot and the difficulty setting isn't high so I only lost about 2 matches in the whole thing, the stupid thing about the mode is that nothing you do in the story mode counts towards the offline trophies, except unlocking all the stages and unlocking titles and fighter card backgrounds. The online on this game is incredibly unfair and garbage and the reason I never went for the fastest time for this game is because I had to stay up all night to do the online and wanted to sleep after doing it. I played it in the early hours of the morning to avoid random people joining, because from experience randoms joining the lobby will make you lose about 5 wins worth of XP from a single loss. I got one random person to join me during that night but I beat them so my win streak wasn't affected. I also had a good friend using 2 PS4s himself and boosting the game at around the same time as me, we didn't run into each other enough, but when I got 11th rank and he got 12th, he power levelled me to 10th rank, then I returned the favour and donated my 10th rank to him, losing against a 12th rank until he got 10th rank made me lose the rank and get demoted down to 13th rank at the end of the night, so my 10th rank title was short-lived. . There are rumours that the servers for the game will shut in October 2018, while I don't believe that, I feel that it'll be a horrendous time for people to attempt to boost the game, because finding people is not ideal when you go for the online trophies. I at least kept the evidence in-case some stalking prick comes and sees I'm no-longer 10th rank, it's not an impressive feat that I'm 7th in the world for my win streak considering it was all boosted I decided to also keep my platinum screenshot, because ideally I managed to get a perfect against the final boss in my final run Edited August 27, 2018 by Sergen

Found it quite enjoyable for the most part, only downside is that the journey feels quite repetitive but it is a repetitive game by nature. The cut scenes were well executed with some pretty good voice acting. Overall a solid game! Looking forward to 19! Popular Post Dark Layla
#133 - Batman : Arkham KnightBatman once again managed to save his city, needless to have to play twice the story to get platinum! a game with as much good stuff as horrible trophies (and I'm also including dlc's)AR challenges are very good in which we can compare results with friends as well as the gameplay that for me is the best in the Batman series. Including Batmobile in this game was one of the best things they have done to date. The combat was improvised and got better but also has stronger enemies and the ability to give certain boosts to other comrades.Story mode has many secondary missions and many of them are very fun.after doing 120% of story mode i feel like i want more ... but i doubt that it happens again, anyway its a game that deserves to be played for those who like batman in the open world. And that's how Batman died .... or not. ?
Popular Post Dragon-Archon
#190: Apotheon Another indie metroidvania game. Unlike Dust, this one had some bugs. There was a patch released, but there's still a bug that can cause the game to crash every time when opening a loot box (all 75 of them must be opened for a trophy). The game even crashed twice when trying to save before opening a loot box . In this game the Greek gods have abandoned humanity and they're slowly dying from diseases, famine, and slaughter. Hera has pity on humanity and tasks Nikandreos to travel to Olympus to gather divine objects that would help humanity survive. At first I was worried that this would feel like a 2D clone of God of War, but that wasn't the case. There's no level up system and Nikandreos only becomes stronger after obtaining these objects. Then there's an armour gauge that increases after finding/buying any armour. Those all contribute to the same gauge. Besides that, weapon damage and speed can be increased by paying for lessons at weapon masters. That's all the "leveling" in the game, which doesn't give much incentive to fight enemies. I tried to fight new ones, but but it becomes a bit boring after a while, especially when dealing with annoying ones, such as wolfs in Artemis' hunting grounds. That is a shame, because there are lots of weapons in the game. These weapons will break eventually and there's no way to restore their durability. The repair kits in this game don't help, because those restore Nikandreos' armour gauge. Athena's labyrinth trials were a nightmare to complete, especially when the targets were off screen. Whoever designed that is a sadist. The ending was an unexpected surprise. I'd like to see other games like this based on Egyptian, Mayan, Chinese, and Japanese mythologies.

Popular Post Squirlruler
#50 TROPHY ADDICT -- Hotline Miami 2 After I played the first one, I was VERY excited to play the second. I had heard it was basically a more flushed out version of the first, which was EXACTLY what I wanted and what it was. Another amazing soundtrack. Played on my vita, which I felt was a perfect game for it. Only complaint was that the joysticks would never really stay in the direction I wanted and would seem to "reposition" when released. Had to basically hold it in the direction I wanted to get it to aim correctly. Might have been because of my fat fingers. Fast paced gameplay and a confusing AF story. Had to watch a video explanation and chat with others (Thanks @B1rvine) to help fully grasp it. GREAT GAME. Highly recommend. Popular Post Juzota
#104 - Batman: Arkham Knight I AM the Batman! Reclaim your city. Man, I was so disappointed with this game back in the 2015 and I still think this is worst game from the Arkham-series. I even did enjoy Origins more than this. After Asylum and City which are both great, this just feels such a mess story-wise and also I didn't really like the Batmobile. When I play Batman-game I don't really wanna play with a tank and shoot stuff. And there was sooooooo much of it. It got boring really fast. Also it didn't help that the Arkham Knight, the dude who got his name in the title, was a huge disappoiment. I expected much more from that character. Rest of the gameplay, combat and predator stuff, was top notch and those were definitely the best part in this game. This game also looked really good which is nice I guess. Platinum-trophy in this game was pretty easy to obtain, but the real challenge is in the DLC. I wanted to get every dlc-trophy before going for the Plat and I did almost gave up with this game. Some of the trophies from Community Challenge Pack were brutal. For me it took lots of practice and patience to get them, but I did it and I'm glad I did. I haven't had that same euforia from trophies in a very long time than. It just felt so good to pop some of those trophies after days of raging and cursing, lol. Enjoyment: 6 Platinum Difficulty: 3 100% Difficulty: 8 --- Now I have Platinums and 100%'s for Asylum, City and Knight. I'd love to do the same for Origins, but those damn multiplayer trophies... No thank you. I'm probably gonna replay that game in some point, but not gonna go for 100% completion. Not even sure if the servers are up anymore. Don't really care to be honest.

Popular Post Terra
#149 - Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls Pragmatism's Last Reward Earned every other trophy in the game. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 I love the Danganronpa series, just not this entry. First off, the concept isn't bad, but the execution is poor. The best part of the game is following the story but the worst part is the gameplay. The shooting is jagged and slow when playing as Komaru. Upgrades via Bling Bullets did not help at all; nor did skill upgrades through books. Playing as Genocide Jack was were I had the most fun gameplay wise (that and the English voice actress does a superb job here! She made me laugh every time she opened her mouth). The story isn't as good as the first two games but it's got a satisfying ending and a good new cast of characters. Komaru and Toko work well together and their relationship is what I followed the story for to see it's end. It was also nice to see some of my favorite characters from the first game re-appear here too. However, the children in this game were insufferable. Jataro's voice was the worst of the bunch with is mumbling and I wanted to chuck Monaca off her wheelchair and down a building. The only child who wasn't to bad was Nagesi but that's not saying much. Didn't care for Kurokuma or Shirokuma and that much, very bland characters for me. Overall, good story but unless you like shooters, I would just read or watch a walkthrough on youtube to see the story. The mediocre gameplay isn't worth the hassle. # 150 - Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD Dream Drop Distance Master Obtain all Trophies Difficulty: 4.5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I haven't had a Kingdom Hearts game disappoint me yet but this one almost came close with it's lackluster ending compared to the other games. However, I still love it for many other reasons. One, the atmosphere is incredible (when not being forced to switch between characters). I got sucked into the new worlds easily with their designs, music themes, and enemies. La Cite Des Cloches and Symphony of Sorcery are some of the nicest worlds designed in my opinion. The theme for La Cite is one of the most beautiful and underrated themes in a Kingdom Hearts game that I think deserves more recognition for it's melody. Symphony of Sorcery was just like playing an interactive version of Fantasia. That's an incredible feat in my opinion. The only worlds I didn't care for were Traverse Town and the Grid because a. I grew tired for seeing it and b. I've never seen Tron or Tron Legacy. Now onto characters. Sora was disappointing for me because he didn't get a lot of development. Most of the time I was controlling him he came off as unenthusiastic, dull, and disinterested in the situation around him (except for the Grid level). However, playing as Riku is where I had the most enjoyment. Since the original game, it fascinates me of how much he has grown from a corrupted adolescent to a mature teenager. I hope Kingdom Hearts III continues this. Other things I didn't care for in the game were Flowmotion and the Dream Eaters. Flowmotion is not that bad but it would activate at times I didn't want it too and It resulted in many unfortunate deaths. I preferred using the command system since I wouldnt blast off in a random direction. The Dream Eaters felt like they belonged in a different game. I guess it's sort of like a poor man's Pokemon so I had little interest in them. I had fun with them for a while but I'd rather have party members then 'spirits". However, this is still one of my favorite games of the year and even though it ranks below Birth by Sleep for me, I'd play it again.
