Popular Post DamagingRob
#391- Onechanbara Z2: Chaos Congratulations!! This Must Be Your Favorite Game "This must be your favorite game." Umm.. not quite. :/ But I had a pretty good time with it. This game felt a lot like I was playing Senran Kagura again, so it's of no surprise that it's from the same developer. It is a lot more violent than that series, though. As you slice and dice your way through many zombies and other creatures, you'll see a ton of blood. Sometimes splattering on the screen, like you're watching the action through a camera. You'll also fight bosses who usually have quicktime events, where you'll have to swipe the touchpad in the direction shown. You can expect to play through the story nearly five times, unless beating a boss with no damage is possible on Normal? Getting to Chapter 13 on Casual, like the guide indicates, is almost an entire fifth playthrough. There are only 16 chapters in the story, and the last two are really short. While I enjoyed playing through it, doing it four more times was a bit much.. Flipped on Spotify to alleviate some of the boredom. The story also isn't too inviting to newcomers, since this is a continuing story from a previous game.. But I enjoyed the girls' interactions with each other. Story Mode didn't present too much of a challenge, even with each increasing difficulty. Enemies just took longer to kill. Missions were a little trickier, though. A few required farming points with Aya's knives. Which you can do by holding for a bit, and then releasing it. Then doing it again and again. They do very little damage, so it's a good way to rack up points needed for V ranks. And then there was the one for cutting the legs off of zombies. After searching for a bit, I found a good solution. Pressing once or twice with Kagura's second weapon, is much more likely to get you to the goal than the methods the guide recommends. So yeah, if you're looking for a violent hack and slash with sexy women, this is your game. Platinum image: Spoiler ^Thought I might get a decent one after the accessory trophy popped earlier than expected (last two trophies only unlock gallery images), but that tutorial screen got in the way. :/ Here's what it should have looked like (some of these may not be safe for work, though not as bad as that Conan Platinum image I posted): Spoiler And a pic of all the girls, and the various accessories I equipped: Spoiler ^Yes, that is a piece of toast in the one girl's mouth. And really like this trophy image: Spoiler Edited April 30, 2019 by DamagingRob
Popular Post Viper
#158 DriveClub#UniteInSpeed ...after 3 Years 1 Month!I was playing this back in 2016, got most of the trophies our of the way...then the ones I had left were so super grindy, and I didn't like the game THAT much...so I put it down, decided I didn't care about the Platinum. But fast forward to last week, I see that the servers are going down next year...and I realized I had a single online trophy left to get (drive 1000 Miles), so I figured I'd just get that one out of the way and I could go back to this game any other time that I wanted. But through going for that, I realized the grind I had left to do wasn't all that bad...it just required making some daily progress, so I got it out of the way. I'm not worried about the DLC though...I bought the Season Pass around the same time that I bought this game (it's the full version not PS+ Edition)...but I don't want to put myself through that. If DriveClub Bikes goes on sale before it's delisted in August I might grab it...but I'm in no hurry otherwise. I know about all the hardships surrounding the development, but this game doesnt make justice to the Darksiders series. I wouldnt recommend it you're not really a fan of the series, unless you want to play a souls-like game.
Popular Post Bumperklever
#93 Burnout Paradise (PS3) Burnout Paradise EliteDate Achieved: 1 May 2019Rarity: Rare (12-13%)Enjoyment: 7/10 Yes 1 of the games that I wanted to play is finally being played due to the server shutdown. However I had less fun then I thought I would have.. This mostly due to the repetiveness and task oriented trophy system when you don't have a real goal... and the events consisting of 5 different eventsmodes, but you still need to actually do 90 in total for the burnout license.. So roaming around an finding ways to break billboards was fun enough, you only needed 60/120 which is a good amount while not getting tedious. The road rules modes are fine, but nothing to special so you have to deal with cumaltive 20 of those. And the events were basic as it can get and you need 90 in total of it. The best here is roadrage. Stuntrun can be pretty easy exploitable, race is just from a to b, burning route is a time trial a to b and marked man is a survive from point a to b. The online freeburn challenges were fun though, especially the big surf island ones! Edited May 1, 2019 by Bumperklever

I can say this is one is a lot more funnier than FBW. Tiny bit more stressful with missable collectibles. I almost cussed myself for missing Poodlesaurus Rex from the first trip to the School. Which would have meant a 2nd playthrough :(. Thankfully a google search says that is it not "Missable" You can warp into the ducts in the school after post game/2nd School Mission to pick up the Chimpokomon.

Popular Post Jelloycat
Platinum #78 & 79 - Steins;Gate Played this on the vita. I wasn't really planning on stacking it, but since I had it free on the PS3 from PS+ a bit back I decided why not. Anyways, this game really was amazing. I watched the anime quite a while ago and decided it was time to finally check out the visual novel. It was definitely worth it to experience the story again and to see the extra content. All those character's endings were great (and heartbreaking). I did have some technical issues with the vita version though that were pretty annoying. It would automatically scroll on menu screens. Even though I had it set to only skip read text, it was also just skip all text. (Which was pretty annoying when I was trying to get to the final route and it would skip over new information.) Still, it was worth dealing with these annoyances because it was such a great game. Edited May 1, 2019 by Jelloycat
Popular Post Asvinia
#42. Yakuza Kiwami KIWAMI 3.10% Loved this game as well and it's really solidified my love of the series. Though no tears were shed despite still having some sad moments, it didn't hit me as hard as so much in Zero did. I'm amazed I even got this trophy since beating the expert at pool pissed me off no end. But the one thing that pissed me off more than any other was Majima Everywhere. It was okay to start with, it was fun and novel, and the ranking events were enjoyable. But once you max out the rank to SSS, Majima is constantly active. This alone ruined a lot of the enjoyment in my Legend playthrough. Come out of a building and there's a rattling traffic cone - nope past that. "Kiryu-chan!" the metallic voice calls. No, Majima, fuck off. Ugh but a no-name goon stopped me and wants to fight because my face made him angry, and Majima butts in. "Kiryu-chan" the voice calls again shortly after I kick his ass. Oh look, Majima's chasing me down the street, so I circle around the whole block to avoid him. Then surprise! It's a Majima ambush! OH MY GOD MAJIMA FUCK OFF I WANT TO DO THE STORY JUST LEAVE ME ALONE. TAKE YOUR TACKY JACKET AND YOUR DUMBASS HAIRCUT BACK TO THE GRAND AND JUST FUCK OFF FOR FUCK FUCKING SAKE
Popular Post Alantor32
Platinum # 35: Marvel's Spider-Man Enjoyment: 10/10 Gameplay: 10/10 My thoughts: Marvel's Spider-Man for PS4 is one of the best games by Insomaniac Games yet. An open world New York set in a Spider-Man universe for PS4 is amazing. Plus, collecting collectables helped show some history on the world of Marvel and Insomaniac Games' Spider-Man. The gameplay takes awhile to get used to, but I quickly got the hang of it though I sucked at the stealth missions sometimes. XD. Plus, it has some amazing side-missions and bases to take on baddies and some of Spider-Man's well known enemies' henchmen. The story is great too, a story that is worth of the Insomaniac Games and Marvel name. I am not gonna spoil the ending, but I can assure you it will be tragic, suspenseful and heartwarming. Now I am gonna wait until tomorrow to do the DLC trophies. Right now, I need to rest, but I have fun playing this game worthy of the Spider-Man name. And I hope Insomaniac Games and Marvel worked on the sequel soon.
Popular Post DEI2EK
#24 Splatterhouse This game was interesting, i knew nothing about it other than it was part of a series i had never played. I didn't know what to expect going in but it was incredibly enjoyable while also very janky. Trophies weren't difficult just time consuming as you have to replay it twice, and play super long arenas, those took me a couple of tries because of the damn blue things that slice your arms off There are a lot of issues with this game, bugs, sequel bait that will never happen, low frame rates, but underneath i think there's something incredibly enjoyable, the humor was dark and most of hit for me. The guy who voiced the mask was fantastic. Gameplay is enjoyable, really biggest downside is there is no real final boss battle, the few boss battles this game has are pretty awesome. Especially the one in chapter 4 with the two chainsaw arms I can see why the game got low ratings as i read about the development hell it went through and how the devs salvaged it. Also you collect pictures of your naked girlfriend i'm trying to imagine how much people would scream about this in today's political climate lmao Anyway game was fun, probably a 7 or 8 out of 10 enjoyment, 4 out of 10 on difficulty Would recommend if you can handle janky games or like janky games like i do Also you can play the original trilogy in this game too which is neat Edited May 2, 2019 by DEI2EK

Popular Post ex10097
I finally finally platted this s***tty game!!! Platinum#114 Hatsune Miku Project Diva X トロフィーマスター (Trophy Master)全てのトロフィーを獲得した (Obtained All Trophies) I played Hatsune Miku Project Diva F as my first ever rhythm game and loved it! Being a complete noob to this genre I had a lot of difficulty completing songs on Hard difficulty, but I still managed to complete everything except that damn Negaposi Continues which felt impossible to me so I gave up and shelved it. Later on I gave it another try after many months and ended up finally passing that song and getting my plat! I bought Project Diva F2nd after that and liked it even better than the first game. Although the difficulty had gone up a lot, with a lot of difficult songs like Two Sided Lovers, Envy Catwalk, 2D Dream Fever and The Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku, I still managed to successfully plat this game as well. So with this momentum, when Diva X was being sold at a discount I bought it expecting to have a great time with it, like with the first two games but boy was I sorely disappointed. Instead of song PVs the divas now perform dance moves on concert stages instead, which felt very lazy and lacklustre. The song selection is also quite poor. The other divas only had like 1 song each and the rest are all Miku songs. They removed the Shop for purchasing stuff and instead made Diva X super-grindy and heavily dependent on RNG. You can no longer buy modules, accessories and gifts but get them as random drops from songs instead. Given that this game has close to 300 modules (costumes), with some of them being very rare or song-specific drops, you can expect to repeat the same song over and over and over again waiting for all the modules to drop. Getting all the random stuff is time-consuming and boring but still nothing compared to maxing out friendships with everyone. Unlike before where you could stock up to 99 of the same gift, now you can only hold 5 max! And these are completely random drops at that. Also at higher friendship levels, the bar will increase very very slowly, so the only reliable way is to wait for a gift event. Every 5 songs you successfully pass will force you to give a gift according to the diva's request. This will give a nice boost at lower levels, but at higher friendship the bar only increases a little. Plus, giving the wrong gift would give you a drop in affinity instead. Completing all this RNG stuff and maxing out friendship can easily take 50+ hours. Completely boring and retarded system they implemented in this game. The worse part however has to be completing every request. You have to complete every song on Easy, Normal, twice on Hard and thrice on Extreme. The difficulty is a lot easier than the previous games, as completing Extreme songs is very doable, but the trophies are so much harder. Like the second and third Extreme ver. there will be challenge effects in play. Like melody icons disappearing as it approaches the target, melody icons moving super fast, etc. You would think the passing requirement would be lowered due to the challenge effects in play, but no. Those SEGA retards actually increased the score you would need to get to pass the song instead! As if Extreme songs aren't hard enough already, now you gotta attempt it two more times; the second time with two challenges, the third time with THREE challenges, and the passing score is getting ridiculously higher every time!!! In F and F2nd you only need to beat all songs on Hard but in X you gotta beat Extreme three goddamn times. I'm super bad with challenge effects, so I ended up using the Effect Breaker modules for clearing all the requests. The drawback is that I can't make use of any modifiers to add to my score, but since the songs play normally, as long as I get better at them I can eventually pass them. But that is with the exception of that ONE song...... And by that I mean "Ending Medley - Ultimate Exquisite Rampage". All the hardest Miku songs compiled into a single medley. On Extreme, due to how fast the notes appear, my fingers keep dying 2/3 of the way and that's the part where the Intense Voice of Hatsune Miku starts to play. Every couple of months I would gain the courage to challenge this monstrous behemoth, but the sight of this Ending Medley on Extreme would make me give up every time. Somehow passing the final festival with that retarded 200k requirement was brutal, especially when I kept getting more than 190k sometimes but always falling short of passing it. But that is still nothing compared to its triple threat ver. A super moronic requirement of 211k????!!!!!! The good thing is that the song has three of the easiest challenge effects in play, but the passing score is insanely high. Today I actually ended up getting 210585. Just 500 points short. If I only could have hit one more note correctly..... But trying again half a day later I finally beat this superboss and got my shiny plat! To those who are bad at this game, I recommend using Len Append (Classic Effect Breaker) for practice. Once you get better, switch to Miku V3 (4s Rate Up) and once you can get scores of more than 190k, use Ultimate Miku at max friendship and make sure sure you hit EVERY SINGLE RATE UP NOTE. As long as you don't get too many misses you should be able to barely pass this song by the skin of your teeth. If you are skilled enough, you could try using 100 Combo Lv.5 and as long as you can get at least two 100 combos out of this song's 1047 notes, you will get a boost of 16000 to your final score, allowing you to pass easily. The only good thing about Diva X is that I can now dual-wield and drum on my Vita lol. I swear the guys who can get a Perfect on this song must be robots disguising themselves as humans.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4) Adventurer Extraordinaire Proof that you read the entirety of "Travelogue of the Gaete Sea" by Adol Christin Who needs Mulder, when you've got Dana? Fantastico! Excellente! Bellissima! This is hands down the best game I've played this year so far. Not that there's a lot of competition, but still... Ys VIII starts out as more or less season 1 of Lost. You're shipwrecked on a mysterious island, trying to gather up other survivors. But, as the story progresses, there's more to it than just basic survival. Maybe even too much at the end, but RPG's gotta RPG Graphics, surroundings and playing area took me back to my days with Xenoblade Chronicles. The way all comes to life is astounding. Music department really kicks it up a notch. There's themes I could listen to over and over again, and some even give a Symphony of the Night-vibe Combat is fast paced, fluid and never too boring. Grinding can be done, but is not that necessary. Bosses are cool too, being big and bad and growwwly. Lots of collectables around, but thanks to a great guide, made by the awesome @Dragon-Archon and @viech54, I got 'em easily. Thanks, guys And speaking of collectables, of course there is fishing involved, as these games usually do. But even that was enjoyable, in a button-mashing way. One thing that did bother me a bit was the uneven distribution of voices and background music. Volume was too low no matter what. Or I'm half deaf. Nitpickings aside, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is fantastic in a 10/10 way. All should play it and see why it's as good as everyone says it is Edited May 2, 2019 by Ala-Arska
