Popular Post MooseSketts
Platinum #101 Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater One thing that always bothered me about this game was Snake's wrist in first-person when shooting guns such as the shotgun. Popular Post sh4d0wzcs
#102 Titanfall 2 After playing this on release for months then dropping on my original psn, so finally got back into it for the platinum. I love everything that Titanfall is, and that still hasn't changed since release, we seriously need a another one, it's overdue. No trophy was really hard, playing on Master difficulty was pretty easy apart from a few spots, and my only real was the bug that turns ps4 off when you load the first mission, had to delete and reinstall twice to fix.

Popular Post iXanon
#23 Assassin's Creed II (PS4) Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Time taken: 3 months, 3 weeks, 1 day I've previously played and finished Assassin's Creed II on the Xbox 360, so a second runthrough posed little challenge but was still thoroughly enjoyable. I'd say that I'm looking forward to playing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for the first time, but next year's focus is going to be on the ABC of Unstarted Games 2020 event (of which Brotherhood is only a backup game).. Perhaps in 2021 ? Edited December 30, 2019 by iXanon

Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #149 - Skate 3 (PS3) Another game from the old backlog done! Not going to 100% this list, but it was super fun to jump back in to this world and just wreck my skater. The toughest part of this platinum is the whole online portion since no one is online. There is a ton to do in the base game and the environments and challenges are done very good for the most part. There are a few bugs and challenges that make going for the platinum a pain, but it's possible to work around them for the most part. Carol
#177 Word Search by POWGI (Vita) Howl to the Chief Collect all the trophies This is my final platinum of 2019. I bought this game for my Vita more than a year ago, after feeling some nostalgia of solving word search puzzles, as a kid. I had fun with this game, in the beginning, but, considering that it features more than 300 puzzles, it started getting tiresome, so I left it and kept coming back, once in a while. Now, I finally gathered the motivation to solve the remaining puzzles and get the platinum. There's not much else to say about this game. If you like to relax and pass some time, solving word search puzzles, about a varied range of subjects, then this game is definitely for you.
Popular Post Angel
Stranded Sails - Explores of The Cursed Islands I love this cute exploring adventure game with farming sim gameplay! Playing this reminded me of YS VIIi (which I will be replaying since it was so much fun) even though both games are vastly different, maybe it's the let's take a trip, oh no shipwreck, let's build a life here until we can leave plot? haha I enjoy the simplistic gameplay, seeing my farm and village grow and it's overall cuteness. Platinum wise, it's very straightforward, easy with only a few missables if only you decide to leave the island towards the end of the game without cleaning up your remaining trophies. I enjoyed this game quite alot that if the stars aligns perfectly, I will work on creating a trophy guide to help anyone that is interested in giving it a play! Glad to squeeze in one last platinum before the New Year, thank you for your time as always and wishing you all the best. Happy New Year!
Popular Post AK-1138
Platinum #449: Difficulty: 7/10 Playtime: 100+ hours Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Easily the best 2K game since 2K14, and a real old challenge even for someone as seasoned as I. It really forced me to dig deep into my not-all-that-deep reserve of grit, determination, and elbow grease. 97% of the trophy requirements is kid stuff. I was able to amass over 70% of the trophies in a few days. Online matches were more than doable when I wasn't having connection issues, or when I wasn't put in a match with the usual subhuman rabble of griefers and exploiters. Walked away with a respectable 50/17 win/loss ratio. The real clincher was the AJ Styles Million Dollar Tower, which is probably the same number of expletives I uttered during my seemingly fruitless endeavour. Fifteen consecutive matches at the highest difficulty with damage retention, and the usual unreliable submission system. It took me a fair few months of on-and-off trying, even with a somewhat predictable AI and a number of gameplay exploits. If a gameplay feature is broken, break it back I say. They could have nerfed it after the contest ended at the very least. But that's 2K for ya... lazy and unambitious to a fault. I'm kind of glad there was a patched-out exploit at at launch that allowed lesser* people to cheese it... I don't think I would have been able to bear to have the insignia of the accursed Worst Wrestler Ever display in my five rarest trophies cabinet thingy. (* I would have been of them if the method were still available when I bought the thing ?) Even with the challenges it presented, it was more fun than 2K18 with little to no grinding to be found. Very pleased to have this done by year's end. 2K20, bugs or no, will thankfully be a breeze. And not only did I get an awesome UR plat for my troubles, but also one of the most hilariously random platinum screenshots ever, especially without context: Edited December 30, 2019 by AK-1138 Just some stuff I forgot.
Popular Post DEsIx_KaerO
#228 - God of War III Remastered That was something, every boss fight were decently fun, except for that - Doggo spewing exploding doggos - , on Titan(hard) it was a challenge for me, but i made it through somehow, didn't like those accompanying enemies that spawned every time i severed one of its heads. Other than that, Zeus's first phase was for challenging than the 3rd one inside Gaia's Heart, Hercules was pretty tough to beat as well, and so was Hades ( 1st phase in both fights) . It seems they did have some moves i did not even know they had, might be because of difficulty level. To be honest, i should have started with Hard right off the bat, aMAZEd trophy would not be any harder anyways, as i only died from Spikes on my Hard play-through. Challenge of Gods were easy for the most part, some were luck based like killing all enemies bare handed ( Challenge 2 ), a lot of moments when just one soldier was running around as i ran out of time. Challenge 3 ( get stoned 10 times ), was tricky but, it wasn't that hard, countering the petrification move and not pressing the right button will petrify you much faster than by just standing. Dunno what else to write Other than, that it was fun Spoiler Edited December 30, 2019 by DEsIx_KaerO Pic

I've literally started my one and only playthrough on Hard, and always attempting to cheese my way into the bosses, but Zeus was a complete clusterfuck to start with. He throws his annoying illusions, lightning bolts, and a plethora of nearly unavoidable attacks than I might break my RS from avoiding. The challenges in this incarnation were a trial and error and they're a little easier than what the original God of War has (I'm looking at you Challenge 10). And shit happened with my PS4, causing my hard work to disappear, forcing me to do another playthrough just for the last few trophies. Other than that, congratulations! God of War (2018) might be next in your list to Plat.
Popular Post gary_danial
Wow, it's been a while since I got any platinums. But i won't finish this year without any platinum, so here's a few! #416: Life Is Strange: Before The Storm As usual, i enjoy this kind of game. Without revealing spoiler, this game has satisfying ending for me. I'm looking forward to getting myself a 2nd one now. #417: This Is The Police 2 Wow where do I even begin.. Well this is one of my favorite game.. Only to find out that there are tons of BUGS and savebreaking bug! Thanks to my constant backup save I managed to complete it fast enough that I got the fastest platinum for the game. Bugs aside, I really enjoy the game! I love the music so much and i'm glad they brought some of contents from the first game. I wonder if I could do their other game, Rebel Cops, its just focusing on tactical/assault aspect of the game, so I'm still contemplating to play that one.
Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#138 God of War II (Ps3) God of war II is the second game in the series that I played on Ps2. Before spending few words about the game, I have to make a distinction: 1) about trophies and platinum and 2) about the game itself as story and gameplay. 1) About the trophies: having the possibility to play on easy mode makes the game pleasant and easy. Even the challenge of the Titans did not give me any particular problems. Challenge no. 7 which was the one that, according to the guides, was the most difficult one, I passed it on my second attempt by watching this video: 2) About storymode and gameplay: I could not wait to take my damned revenge towards a certain God ... but the more I played and the more I saw how the sequel of God of War 1, from pure action game, was turning into Puzzle of War (forgive me guys ) . In my opinion, Santa Monica Studios have gone too far with all those puzzles to solve, because I think they broke the "battle rhythm" . I would have preferred more fights if I have to be honest. In any case, the game is really great. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 #139 God of War II (PsVita) I found the version on PsVita practically the same as the Ps3 one from the point of view of the gaming speed, precision etc. For the challenge n.7 I used the same video posted above, but I needed a dozen more attempts. And, lastly, God of War 2 on PsVita will be my latest platinum of 2019 and it's also my fastest personal platinum at the moment. Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 3/10 I wish you guys a very happy New Year! See you in 2020 with God of War 3! Popular Post Yechan
#172 - The Lord of the Rings: War in the North Warrior of the North I like this game even though it did a bit fall short. There were lots of glitches, grinding, and lost potential. Playing this made me want to visit Dragon Age Origins again. I created my first boosting session of 2019 to get the online trophy, even though I could have self boosted it.
Popular Post Dauersack
Horizon Zero Dawn #40: All trophies obtained This was it, the game chosen to end this mixed year on a high note, the year that saw me playing so much crap. Gotta say Horizon Zero Dawn delivered, starting off good and becoming better as it goes on until it cemented its place as one of my favorite PS4 games to date, joining the ranks of games like The Last Of Us and God Of War. The games world is absolutely beautiful and throws color in your face all the time while having amazing music to boot, the gameplay is very fun and versatile thanks to the different weapons and strategies available for all the different enemies, the main character with the crappy name is a joy to be around despite being a bit whiny at times, the story starts out fairly slow and a bit boring but really picks up the pace and becomes one of the most interesting stories in the current gen thanks to some twists and turns, really had me hooked once it picked up properly. The game gives you control of Aloy, a girl outcast at birth by her tribe that is controlled by matriarchs. You do not get any reason for that because the tribe shows all the symptoms of stupidity and insanity I would have expected in a society that is being lead by old crones, with the men being infuriating pussies and "I can't tell you what you want to know" being the most prominent answer you will ever get on any question when trying to actually solve a problem, if they talk to you at all. You take part in a ceremony to join the tribe that has shunned you since your birth instead of trying to actually give them a reason for it like I would have done, some shit goes down, and suddenly you find yourself roaming a world that is overrun by animal like machines ranging from small watchers that behave like raptors to massive imposing Thunderjaws that make for a wild spectacle whenever you fight them with your weapons. Your weapons range from your speer to bows over cables all the way to bombs, being able to use several elements, though except fire they are all a bit underwhelming. Killing the machines gets you ressources for more equipment, ammunition and stuff to sell for scraps. Fighting the machines requires you to aim for their weak spots in open battle while human enemies can often times be fought too, but are rewarding a more stealthy approach and the use of traps to spread chaos among their ranks. Side activities like hunting trials, bandit camps and searching for collectibles are available to give you something other to do than following the main quest, all of them are fine except vantage points, they annoyed the hell out of me, most fun was climbing the impressive looking Tallneck machines. All in all the game does almost every important thing right, with only a few gripes I had with it, most of them being minor. Most sidecharacters are annoying and people you wanna kill rather than help, making Aloys goody two shoes nature feel wasted. The camera is sometimes zoomed in too much for my liking so it can be tricky to navigate. Climbing outside of climbing sections turns you from a climbing monkey that makes Nathan Drake look bad into a log that climbs with all the agility of a dead cat, sometimes making it needlessly frustrating to travel through some areas. Animal sounds, too many animal sounds, any tensity during you stalking a few machines is gone if you hear a racoon or fox screech near you every few seconds. The navigation system is pretty bad, at least for me because it can make you run around in circles needlessly. Mounts are useless, a mount is barely faster than sprinting and if you factor in terrain its usually slower, fastest way to travel is rolling like a Droideka, a bit of a shame since riding on metal horses is undeniably badass. Both big disasters in the worlds story happened because the same character was an absolute dumbass, and therefore Faro becomes the dumbass of the decade award because he is the most retarded decision maker I have ever seen in any game this decade. Anyone who has not played this game owes it to himself to do it. Do not get scared away by this games sjw look, yes you will get that feeling occasionally but they never overdo it with the main character and the other things like this get a proper explanation instead of just being there, also the female ruled society will make you laugh because it is exactly like you'd imagine it to be, dumb and infuriating to be a part of even as a female character. The games dlc is alright, a bit too heavy on the damage sponge enemies but nothing that can't be overcome. I will keep the NG+ on my backlog for a while so I have something good to come back to. Definitely a good way to finish the year and a deserving game for my 40th plat milestone.
Popular Post Yoey_666
#332 - Horizon: Zero Dawn Ok ok, as with many AAA games I take this late to the party award with honor. The game itself, the story, graphic, gameplay are just amazing. The post-apocalyptic setting and the story behind it were something new and really impressed me. I really hope that Sony and Guerilla don‘t mess up the second part (that will surely come) and do not kill this franchise like so many others. Awesome game.

Popular Post Zircon_Lotus
Platinum #81 Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Even having the good elements from the Star Wars franchise to make a good game, the Force Unleashed 2 ends up being only average. The gameplay is a bit clunky, the levels are extremely linear with no areas to explore, and there is little variety in enemies. Sometimes your inputs dont seem to register, which can be frustrating, especially in Unleashed or when jumping between plataforms. Something that positively surprised my were the graphics. Even almost a decade old, the graphics aged well compared to other PS3 games that I played recently. Despite the low completion rate, this platinum is not hard. There are difficulty trophies (that stack), challenges trophies, miscellaneous trophies, level trophies and a collectable one. I advise you to play the game on easy. This way you can tackle all miscellaneous trophies, get all holocroms (really easy to find, but you can use a video guide to assure yourself) . In this step you will also unlock all challenges. Before I started the game I made a list with all miscellaneous trophies and the earliest point in which I could do them, so each time I finish one, I checked them from the list. If you do not get one, fear not, because this game features a Level Select option, so you can replay the chapter and get the trophy. After that you will do the challenges. There are 10 in total, and they arent hard, although some can be a bit frustrating, specially because of the input delay. The last thing you will do is complete the game again, this time on Unleashed (very hard). I only played the first Force Unleashed on PS2, and only on normal, so I dont know how this compare to the first game, but Unleashed is nothing out of this world. You will certainly die because the game is cheap, but nothing that one or two replays of an area will not teach you. Besides, the game has many checkpoints, even during boss fights, so you will never have to replay too far back. In the end, this was a mediocre experience. If you're a fan of Star Wars, or want a short and easy platinum, go for this game. If not, go play something else, there are plenty of better options. It can be nostalgia, but I thought this when I first played this on PC many years ago, and still think this now: the first one was better.
